Meat
Traditional meals are based on meat products, with pork and chicken being the most commonly eaten. At a family Sunday lunch, you are most likely to see minced beef ribs or pork chops (similar to Viennese schnitzels) served with mashed potatoes and salad. Another popular way to prepare meat is to cook it in sauces.
