It was a long time ago. On a sunny day, the farmer brought two little goats to the market in Poznań.

2
He led them to the market square, tied them under the Town Hall Tower and says: "Let them stay here and wait until I have a little eat and a drink." And he went.

3
He met a friend at the inn. They sat down at the table and drank a cold beer. They talked about various things. They forgot about the goats.
The sad billy goats are standing in front of the town hall. They would rather get off and run between the stalls with green cabbage and red carrots.

4
Grześ, a boy, goes across the square and looks for a trick to play here. He sees - there are two trapped billy goats.

5
- Oh, poor you! Are you bored of waiting like this? Wait! You are certainly from the village and you have not seen the city. I will show you all of Poznań in a moment.

6
7
Grześ untied the goats and pulled them to the door of the Town Hall. And there, up the stairs to the top, he dragged them.

8
"Look at the city from that balcony," he says, and he ran away. Billy goats tremble with fear. They would like to escape from the tower, but do not know where to go.
9
Meanwhile, the owner of the billy goats ate, drank, and remembered the goats.
He goes outside the inn, looks at the billy goats in front of the Town Hall, no trace of it.
He runs around the square, asks people around if they haven't seen the goats.

“We saw them!” Some said. Yes, they were standing here. Where are they now? Who can know that?
- How do I get home now? - worries the peasant.
- I will not sell the billy goats,
- I will not get the money.
12
Suddenly, from somewhere high above, a voice is heard:
-Me-e-e-e! Me-e-e-e! Me-e-e-e!
People looked high and noticed two little billy goats in the town hall gallery. Their horns were beating.
