After a few years, both brothers offered an offering to YAH from the work they produced. Cain brought food that he farmed out of the ground but Abel brought the best of his flock of sheep to sacrifice to YAH. So because Abel sacrificed the best of what he had to YAH, YAH was pleased with his offering and a fire blazed down from heaven from the Most High and burned up Abel’s offering. But Cain did not bring the best of his food that he had produced and so his offering was not acceptable before the Most High YAH. Because Cain’s offering was rejected but Abel’s offering was accepted by YAH, Cain burned with anger and he was jealous of his brother Abel! And Cain thought to kill his brother because of his anger inside of him.
