“Kick the ball back Annie!” Debbie Andrews yelled from the other side of the yard. Debbie Andrews was one of Annie Cooper’s closest friends and was the captain of the girls soccer team. She was also winning in the game of soccer that she, and Annie’s other friend, Milina Jones had started.

   Annie kicked the ball with as much force as she could, sending it flying across the yard and over the fence into the next-door neighbors house. “Great, we lost another ball.” Milina said as she tried to look over the fence. “You must have super strength to be able to get 65 balls over the fence in a row!”

“I just use a lot of pushing force, that’s what makes things go forward.” Annie responded. But she did have super strength, that was her secret though. 

   “What do you want for dinner?” Annie’s mom said as she pulled open the pantry door. “Spaghetti maybe, if not chicken is fine” Annie responded as she walked into the living room where her dad was watching the news.

    Dr. Float is back at it again. He is trying to rob a jewelry store and he is doing a great job at it too. 

“Why do they seem to always look on the good side of things? They make it seem like they are on the bad guy’s side!” Annie’s dad said when he heard the news report “I bet they won’t be saying that once Magnet girl shows up.”

   When Annie walked into her bedroom and immediately went into her closet. When she came out, she was no longer Annie Cooper. She was the one and only Magnet girl!

  She opened her window and jumped out. “Dr. Float won’t stand a chance against me!” Magnet girl said as she 

headed out into the city to face Dr. Float. 

   Magnet girl jumped on top of building after building until she got into the city where Dr. float was causing chaos as he tried to rob a jewelry store. “Why do you want earrings?” Magnet girl asked him, trying to take his attention away from the robbery. It worked just as perfectly as she had hoped.

Dr.float started to beg for forgiveness because it was his 

 wifes birthday and he had forgot to get her a present “Umm, have you ever heard of getting a job?” Magnet girl asked with a confused expression. “Apparently not” Dr. float said “but I am still going to rob this place” then he turned to walk away.

   “No you don’t” Magnet girl said and went in front of Dr. float. “You are going to go to jail for trying to rob this place” and a few minutes later the cops had come and Dr. Float was being sent to jail.

“I will be back!” Dr. float yelled from the window of the 

 police car. “Sure” Magnet girl yelled back.

   “Finally! I knocked on your bedroom door three times and you never answered!” Annie’s little brother, Jack said when Annie walked into the dining room.

   “How long was I gone?” Annie asked herself and looked at the clock. It was six thirty and she had left at five! 

“What the…” she started to ask but then realized Jack was staring at her. 

   “Are you ok sis? I think you may want to see a doctor

 because you look like you saw a ghost.” 

   “Im fine, and for all you know I might as well be a ghost.” Annie said as she took a seat at the table for dinner.

   Jack usually ignored Annie and making contact with her was definitely not Jack's favorite thing to do. Every one in a while they would do something together, they also made small talk sometimes.

  After 3 servings of spaghetti and meatballs, Annie went back into her bedroom and pulled out her favorite book about a girl with telepathic skills 

and after reading what seemed like fifty chapters she looked out the window to see that it was already dark. But the city glowed brightly in the distance.

After another ten chapters of her book, the room turned darker, like the stars had lost their light or something else.

   “No he didn’t” Annie said as she looked out the window again. The city was all dark.

   “It’s almost midnight for heavens sakes!” Annie almost shouted as she got up from her bed and went into her

   A minute later she came out as Magnet girl. 

   “This better be quick” She said as she opened her window and went out into the chilly night air. 

Ok, we will stop the story here for a moment to explain how Annie is Magnet girl and why she decided to be a superhero. Ok maybe not the last part but definitely the first.

   So one day, Annie and her two friends, which you should  

already know, were playing by the creek during a thunderstorm. I have no idea why the girls thought that was smart but we are not here to explain every single detail, we are here to tell the story. Anyway, a bolt of lightning came down and hit Annie right in the head because her head is the highest part of her body.

   She fainted or something because she woke up 2 days later and around one o-clock she went in her backyard and her metal bucket in the garden kept getting attracted to her like a magnet. Annie then turned around and it repelled away and went over the fence. We made sure that fence would come back up in the book.

Annie thought “well cool! I have powers! Lets go beat some bad guys up!” and then she became Magnet girl and that is all you need to know about that. The end about Annie slash Magnet girl’s backstory.

When Annie walked in her room Jack was waiting for her.”i knocked on your door for an hour to see if you could help me with my reading homework and you did not answer so i came right in.You came in through the window and not the door so you obviously did not tell mom and dad that you were leaving”My jaw dropped when he said that and he made me tell him 

everything.”Woah my sister is magnet girl!I have to tell mom and dad.”said Jack.”No jack you can’t tell anyone not even mom and dad. ”I said as I grabbed his arm and yanked him back into the room."They would freak out and ask how long I have been magnet girl." "yeah how long have you been magnet girl again?" "three years Jack now do not under any circumstances tell anyone that 

I am magnet girl, you herr?""Yes ma'am"said Jack.Annie helped Jack with his homework then sent him back to bed.Annie then proceeded to read her book for another 20 chapters or so then went to bed.

The next morning when they were eating breakfast, Jack was making funny comments about magnet girl. “Magnet girl makes Dr. float attract to the ground like he is a magnet!” said Jack.“Jack”said Annie in a low annoyed voice. Unfortunately for Annie, her mom heard her. “Annie, your brother is just trying to be funny.” she said. “Now go get ready for school, the bus will be here soon.”

   At school, people continuously asked her about magnet girl. “Ugh, Jack must have told everyone about me being magnet girl!” Annie said to herself when a big group of kids sat near her during lunch.At recess Annie had to hide in a bush to get away from them.

“Who did you tell?” Annie asked Jack when they got home. “Nobody” Jack replied in a sort of guilty voice. “Ok fine, I told my best friend. I didn’t know he would tell everyone about it!” Jack said. Jack had a science project due that day about magnets and he asked his sister all about magnets. “Ok, slow down, I will help you with your science project.” Annie said, then they went into Jack’s room to work on the project. “Magnets are things that attract to other magnets and the positive side connects with the negative side of the other.” Annie said to her brother. “Okay! Is that it?” Jack asked, then about sixty million other questions followed that.

When the project was finished, Annie went to her room to read her book until dinner. “Annie we are having tacos tonight so wash up” Annie's mom called from the kitchen. “Ok, Jack come here now!” Annie called then went to the bathroom. “Jack your project is due tomorrow and you waited a whole month to do it! If it is not done by midnight you will get an F!” “okay, okay Annie jeez.” Jack yelled. “I will work on it after dinner.”

   After dinner, Annie watched Jack work on his project to make sure he actually finished it without cheating. Then she went into her bedroom and locked the door so her brother couldn’t get inside. She sat on her bed and read more of her book until the
