In today's book you are going to learn an interesting summary of the Jungle Book, a children's story written by Rudyard Kipling in 1894. This writer is considered one of the most famous and well-known in the history of English literature to the point to be recognized with a Nobel Prize for Literature in 1907.
This story for children called the jungle book is a compilation of different stories about animals and people.

Once upon a time there was a panther named Bagheera who went to the river to quench his thirst, but that day his life changed.
On the bank of the river there was a small ship in ruins, from which came the wail of a small human. Bagheera did not want to leave him there and so he took him to the wolf pack that lived there, to leave him in their care.
Raising up in the jungle with wolves turned Mowgli into a wild creature, but with a human body and feelings.
Shere Khan hated men and would not allow one in the jungle to dispute his kingship.
Faced with the imminent danger that the bloodthirsty tiger represented for Mowgli, the wolves told his protector, the panther Bagheera, to take him to the nearest village of men that he had, because that is where he would be safest.
Bagheera accepted, against the will of Mowgli who did not fear the tiger, and made him undertake a journey with her in search of the village.
One night they climbed a tree to sleep and a huge snake, known as Kaa, hypnotized the boy into swallowing him.
Thanks to Bagheera's quick action, this did not happen and they were able to continue on their way.
On the way, they ran into a band of elephants, which functioned as the jungle patrol, in charge of ensuring order in the jungle.
Mowgli loved the style of these elephants and wanted to parade with them, which greatly annoyed the head of the patrol, who did not want to harm the boy but asked the panther to take him urgently from there.

The Jungle Book tells us fictional fantastic stories and as such the message is minimal, as it is a purely recreational work. The story centers on Mowgli, a human cub who, in the absence of his parents, was delivered by Bagheera, the panther, to a pack of wolves for the care of him. For many years, Mowgli seems like a happy boy, but the time has come for him to go to the man's village that is where he belongs.
