For School

Once upon a time, There was a child named Kevin. He loved football but wasn't the best at it and had an irregular family. His father worked as an army officer so as a result, he had to move houses and schools a lot. His mother worked as a Doctor so he never got to see her much. He never had any permanent friends because he kept hopping schools. One day his mother came to him from school and told him that they were moving again to a small place in America called Lake Creek.

Later, as it would turn out, Kevin and his mother were going to be staying in Lake Creek for a long time. When Kevin got this news from his mother he was ecstatic. He was excited to finally have friends and not lose them a few months after meeting them.

On the first day of school, Kevin was both nervous and excited. His new teacher's name was Ms. Arnolds. She was a lovely woman from what he was told and loved teaching children. He thought about how she would look in the hallway and then he stepped inside his classroom. He saw a few students and Ms. Arnolds standing near the teacher's desk.

Ms. Arnolds introduced Kevin to the rest of the class and made him sit down with a boy named Jones. Ms. Arnolds asked Jones to show Kevin around the school and to introduce him to other people. Jones was a kid who was similar to Kevin. Kevin found out about this while Jones showed him around the school. They both liked football, video games, etc. Kevin just knew he was going to be good friends with Jones.

After Kevin had see the whole school and was introduced to every one of his teachers, him and Jones came back to the class and Ms. Arnolds asked them to take out their math textbooks and open up page 156. They learnt about fractions until the bell rang and they could finally go to lunch break.

During Lunch Break, Jones said to Kevin, " Hey, did you know about the football program that Coach Evans is hosting?" Kevin responded, "No. But I would be interested in participating."
Jones told him that all he had to do was put his name on the sign-up sheet and do his best in football and he might be able to play in the upcoming football tournament.

So, That's what Kevin did. He went over to the sign up sheet near the sports equipment shed and wrote his name down on it. Luckily enough, the next period was sports and Kevin was more excited then ever to show off his football skills he had learnt moving from place to place.
After lunch break was over, Kevin and Jones went back to their class and everyone made a line to go down to the field for the sports lesson. When they arrived down there Coach Evans was there, waiting for them.

The Coach announced that they were going to be practicing in football for the tournament that is coming up in a few weeks. The Coach asked Kevin if he wanted to not participate because he thought that because of him being new he wouldn't know how to play football as well as the others. Kevin declined this request and played.
