      Annesi Melisa'yı doktora götürerek dişlerini kontrol ettirdi. Doktor Melisa'nın dişlerini kontrol ederek dişinde oluşan lekeyi temizleyip dolgu yapacağını söyledi. Dolgunun ne olduğu üzerine sohbet ederek dişlerin tedavisini bitirdi. Melisa'ya diş bakımıyla ilgili sorumluluk alması gerektiği ve her gün kahvaltıdan sonra ve uykudan önce üç dakika boyunca dişlerini fırçalaması gerektiğini söyledi. Melisa'nın annesine diş temizliği için sorumluluk tablosu vererek, Melisa'nın diş fırçalama alışkanlığı kazanmasında yardımcı olabileceğini belirtti. Melisa her gün sabah ve akşam diş temizliğinden sonra tablosunda belirtilen bölümleri boyayarak diş temizliği konusunda kendi sorumluluğunu almaya başlamış oldu.

      Her mother took Melisa to the doctor and had her teeth checked. The doctor said that Melisa would check her teeth, clean the stain on her tooth and fill it. He finished the treatment of the teeth by chatting about what the filling is. He told Melisa that he should take responsibility for dental care and brush his teeth for three minutes every day after breakfast and before going to sleep.   Melisa artık annesinin uyarılarına gerek kalmadan her sabah uyanır uyanmaz elini yüzünü yıkıyor ve her yemekten sonrada mutlaka dişlerini fırçalıyordu. Annesi bu duruma çok mutlu oldu ve kızını tebrik ederek ona  sevgiyle sarıldı. Üzerine düşen her türlü sorumluluğu zamanında yerine getirmesi gerektiğini ona bir daha hatırlattı.Annesi Melisaya hazırlanması gerektiğini evdeki ihtiyaçlar için markete gidip alışveriş yapmaları gerektiğini söyledi. Melisa markette reyonlar arasında gezerken diş fırçalarını fark etti.‘Anne bu diş fırçalarından arkadaşlarıma da alabilir miyim? Onları çok seviyorum benim gibi acı çekmelerini istemiyorum ‘dedi. Melisanın bu düşüncesine annesi saygı duydu ve arkadaşlarına olan bu sevgisi çok hoşuna gitti. Kasada çok uzun bir kuyruk vardı.Annesi hemen arkalarında bekleyen yaşlı bir teyzeye sırasını verdi.Melisa no longer needed her mother's warnings, she would wash her hands as soon as she woke up every morning and brush her teeth after every meal. Annesinin yaşlılara olan bu saygılı davranışı Melisa’ya da örnek oldu…Yaşlı teyze Melisa ve annesinin   sıralarını ona vermek istedikleri için teşekkür etti, fakat onların sıralarını almanın adil bir davranış olmayacağını belirterek sırasını bekleyeceğini söyledi.  Yaşlı teyzenin alışveriş arabasındaki kedi mamaları Melisanın dikkatini çekti ve hemen teyzeye bu kadar çok mamayı ne yapacağını sordu.“Sokaktaki kedilere vereceğim “cevabı  Melisa’yı çok mutlu etti çünkü oda hayvanları çok seviyordu.“İstersen annenle sende benimle gelip hayvanları besleyebilirsin” teklifini Melisa hemen kabul etti. Annesi de gülerek başını salladı.

Yol boyu sohbet ederek   kedilerin yanına geldiler, Melisa kedileri görünce çok mutlu oldu, elindeki mamaları birkaç kediye verdi, Yaşlı teyze diğer kedileri de göstererek bütün kedilere adil bir şekilde mama vermek gerektiğini yoksa diğerlerine haksızlık olacağını söyledi. Melisa da hemen diğer kedilere mama vererek adil bir paylaşım yaptı.The old aunt thanked Melisa and her mother for wanting to give her their turn, but said that she would wait her turn, stating that it would not be fair to take their turn.        Melisa  kedilere mamaları eşit miktarda  dağıttıktan sonra  birden acıktığını hissetti. Annesine dönerek: Anneciğim ben de çok acıktım. Az önce markette çok güzel bir çikolata gördüm onu alabilir miyim",  dedi.   Annesi  de fazla çikolata tüketiminin zararlarından bahsetti. Acıktığımız zamanlarda çikolata gibi zararlı olan yiyecekler tüketmek yerine bize daha faydalı olan besinlerin tüketilmesinin daha doğru olacağını söyledi. Melisa ve annesi daha sağlıklı ne yiyebileceklerini  düşündüler. Melisa: "Buldum anneciğim bence sebze çorbası yapalım" , dedi. Bunun üzerine malzemeleri almak için tekrar markete döndüler.

      Melisa felt that she was hungry after they had evenly distributed the food  to the cats.Turning to his mother: "Mommy,I’m very hungry too.I just saw a beatiful chocolate in the market ,can ı have it?" Said.  She told his mother about the harms of consuming too much chocolate. She said that when we are hungry,instead ofconsuming harmful foodssuch as chocolate, more usefull foods should be consumed. Mesisa and her mather thougt about what they could eat healthier. Melisa :"I found it my mom said I think we should make vegetable soup." Then they went back to market to buy the materials.

Markete girince sebze çorbası yapmak için manav bölümüne gittiler. Gerekli olan sebzeleri almaya başladılar.Melisa ‘’anne karnım çok acıktı’’dedi.Annesi de’’melisacığım sabırlı olmalısın.Sabırlı olmak çok güzel bir davranış.Sebze çorbamızın malzemelerini alıp hemen eve gidelim’’dedi.Melisa ‘’Evet anneciğim sabırlı olursam yaptığımız sebze çorbasını afiyetle içerim’’ dedi.Malzemeleri alıp evin yolunu tutular.

When they entered the market, they went to the greengrocer section to make vegetable soup. They started to buy the necessary vegetables. Melisa said, "My mother is very hungry." Her mother said, "My dear honey, you have to be patient. It is very nice to be patient. Let's get the ingredients for our vegetable soup and go home right away." Melisa said, "Yes mom, if I'm patient. I enjoy the vegetable soup we made,'' he said. They take the ingredients and go home.

    Eve girince Melisa ellerini yıkadı ve annesiyle birlikte mutfağa girdiler. Mutfakta babası vardı.  Annesi -Hadi bakalım herkes işbaşına, hep birlikte yemek hazırlayalım dedi. Babası market poşetinden çıkardığı sebzeleri yıkamaya başladı. Annesiyle babası sebzeleri doğrarken, Melisa da çekmeceden tabakları, kaşıkları ve çatalları çakardı, masaya dizdi. Melisa ailesiyle işbirliği yapmaktan çok mutlu oluyordu, işler hemen bitiyor, birlikte keyifle geçirecekleri zaman artıyordu.

    Melisa ailecek yaptıkları sebze çorbasını içmek için sabırsızlanıyordu. Annesi herkesin tabağına çorbayı servis etti.  Melisa çorbasını afiyetle içti. "Anneciğim ellerine sağlık çorba çok lezzetli olmuş." dedi. Annesi beraber hazırladıklarını herkesin katkısı olduğu için bu kadar lezzetli olduğunu söyledi. Melisa'nın karşısındaki evde yalnız yaşayan bir teyze vardı. Melisa "Anne çorbamızı komşu teyzeye de ikram edelim mi? Eminim çok mutlu olur." dedi. Annesi gülümseyerek onayladı ve Melisanın bu vefalı davranışından dolayı çok mutlu oldu.

    Melisa couldn't wait to drink the vegetable soup they made as a family. His mother served the soup to everyone's plate. Melissa enjoyed her soup. "Mommy, well done, the soup was delicious." said. Her mother said that what she prepared together was so delicious because everyone contributed. There was an aunt who lived alone in the house opposite Melisa's house. Melisa "Shall we serve our mother soup to the aunt next door? I'm sure she will be very happy." said. Her mother approved with a smile and was very happy for Melisa's loyal behavior.

Annesi hemen küçük bir tencereye çorba koydu ve Melisa’ya haydi şimdi teyzeyi ziyaret vakti dedi ve birlikte teyzenin evine gittiler. Zili çaldılar ama kapı açılmadı. Tam geri dönecekleri sırada kapı yavaşça açıldı. Teyze yaşlı ve hasta olduğu için yatağından kalkıp gelmesi zaman almıştı. Melisa’nın annesi tencereyi mutfağa götürmek için mutfağa gittiğinde evin temizliğe ihtiyacı olduğunu gördü ve Melisa’ya dönüp  ‘kızım sen teyze ile sohbet et benim biraz işim var’ dedi ve hemen temizliğe başladı. Melisa yaşlı teyzenin hatıralarını dinlerken annesi temizliği bitirmişti bile. Annesi ve Melisa Teyze ile vedalaşıp evlerine dönmek için izin istediler. Melisa o anda annesinin sabahtan beri yaptığı işleri düşünüp annesinin çalışkanlığı ile gurur duydu. Eve dönmek için dışarı çıktıklarında hava kararmıştı

Her mother immediately poured soup into a small pot and said to Melisa it's time to visit her aunt, and they went to her aunt's house together.  They rang the bell but the door did not open.  Just as they were about to return, the door opened slowly.  It took time for Aunt to get up from her bed because she was old and sick.  When Melisa's mother went to the kitchen to take the pot to the kitchen, she saw that the house needed cleaning. She turned to Melisa and said, "Daughter, chat with your aunt, I have some work to do."  While Melisa was listening to the memories of the old aunt, her mother had already finished cleaning.  They said goodbye to their mother and Aunt Melisa and asked for permission to return to their homes.  At that moment, Melisa thought about her mother's work since morning and was proud of her mother's hard work.  It was dark when they went out to return home.

    Tam yürümeye başlamışlardı ki, annesi birden Yaşlı Teyze'nin evinde saatini unuttuğunu fark etti. "Melisa sen burada bekle , ben saatimi Yaşlı Teyzenin evinde unutmuşum. Hemen içeri gidip alıp geleyim" dedi. "Tamam anneciğim " dedi Melisa. Fakat annesi gidince karanlık ona biraz korkutucu geldi. Sokakta garip tıkırtılar, farklı farklı sesler duyuyordu ve bu onu çok geriyordu. Birden çöp kovasının içinde bir şeyin kıpırdadığını gördü ve çok gerildi. Gözleri kocaman oldu. İlk önce çığlık atarak kaçmayı düşündü. Sonra sakince beklemenin daha doğru olacağını fark etti. Derin bir nefes aldı ve sakinleşmeye başladığı anda annesi geldi. olanları ona anlattı. Annesi kızını öperek "cesaretini kullanmışsın, aferin sana" dedi. Anne kız yine cesurca çöp kovasına yaklaştılar ve içinde minik bir kedinin bir poşete dolandığını ordan çıkamadığını gördüler. CESUR anne kız kediyi kurtardılar ve mutlu bir şekilde evlerine gittiler. They were just starting to walk when her mother suddenly realized that she had forgotten her watch at Old Aunt's house. "Melisa, you wait here, I forgot my watch at Old Aunt's house. I'll go inside and get it right away," she said. "Okay mommy," said Melisa. But when her mother was gone, the darkness seemed a little scary to her. He could hear strange clicking and different noises in the street, and it made him very nervous. She suddenly saw something move inside the dustbin and she was very nervous. His eyes got huge. At first she thought of running away screaming. Then she realized that it would be better to wait calmly. He took a deep breath and as soon as he started to calm down, his mother came. told him what had happened. Her mother kissed her daughter and said, "You have used your courage, well done to you". The mother and daughter bravely approached the trash can again and saw that a tiny cat was entangled in a bag and could not get out of it. BRAVE mother and daughter rescued the cat and went home happily.

Evlerine döndüklerinde Melisa kendini çok yorgun hissetti korku duygusu biraz yormuştu.Hemen uyumaya gitti rüyasında okulda olduğunu görüyordu ogün oyuncak günüydü melisa izinsiz oyuncaklarına dokulmasını istemezdi ama arkadaşları dokunduğundada seslenemez Hayır diyemezdi bu onu çok mutsuz ederdi.Ama rüyasında farklı birşey oldu ahmet izinsiz oyuncağına dokunduğunda 'Hayır Ahmet benden izinsiz oyuncağıma dokunamazsın' diye kesin bir yanıt verdi.

When they got back to their home, Melisa felt very tired and the feeling of fear was a little tired. She went to sleep immediately. She dreamed that she was at school. It was toy day. Melissa did not want her to touch her toys without permission, but she could not call out when her friends touched her. Ahmet gave a definite answer, "You can't touch my toy without my permission."
