Dedicated for all you fun seekers:
Inspired by one of my favorite people in the world,
Summer Garrepy who happens to be my adorable niece.

While all the other ants went off to work,
Anna was just rolling out of bed yawning and
stretching her little legs and body.
She believed following her pleasure was
much more rewarding.
Obviously Anna was no ordinary ant;
she was very independent and did not
prefer to conform to the crowd, choosing to
spend the day in search of her own sweet
delicious confections.

Good Morning!

Anna strolled out of the nest onto the patio, using her
antennas to sense where to find her first treasure.
She easily slipped through the crevice of a sliding glass
door, hiking all the way up on to the counter top, fueling
her ferocious appetite.
To her good fortunate she spotted a pink pond just up
ahead. Sprinting over, the fruity fragrance tantalized her
senses enticing her to stick her tiny, little tongue into the sticky
sweet substance...
Wooooo, yummmm it was decadent and creamy -
Anna guessed it might be strawberry flavored.
She slllluuuuurrrrped and slllluuurrrped until satisfied
with her first prize of the day.

“Buuuuurrrrp…Woooops – excuuuse me,”
she said aloud to no one in particular,
knowing that’s what you say when you belch.
Then she yelped,“Woopiiieee!!! Hee hee hee,”
giggling and skipping off around the corner
in anticipation of her next treat...

Serendipitously she discovered a humongous mountain
- Ohhh, yuuuum, the scrumptious scent of vanilla
cupcake! Anna anxiously climbed to the tippity
top...surrendering to a white fluffy
cloud...“Weeeeeeee!” she shouted as she took the
plunge landing with a “pooooofffffff…” into a soft puff of
gooey frosting.
Perhaps she was in heaven?
Anna gobbled and gobbled until her teensy tummy was
content.Ugghhh – she was stuffed. What a find! Anna
was grateful for completing her daily mission.
What could be better? Well, she surmised, sharing this
incredible adventure would have made the day perfect.

How gallant of Aaron to carry this treasure all the way back home just to
surprise her! Anna squealed, “Awwwww Aaaaaarrrrron…” She ran over
and flung her arms around him for a heartfelt hug and kiss on the cheek.
She told him this was the most considerate thing anyone has ever done
for her.
Aaron was grinning from antenna to antenna taking pleasure in adorable
Anna’s delight. He commented, “Hey, you smell delicious…” then he
kissed her cheek and licked his lips, “and taste like…like candy!”
Anna winked her antenna and flirted, “That’s right Sugar Lips,” then
declared, “Tomorrow I’d like to give you a lesson on of how to follow
your bliss. I discovered this awesome place where we can find all kinds
of sweet treasures - are you in?”
In which Aaron replied, “Uhhhh, hellloooo you don’t call me Sugar Lips
for nothing…Yeeeaaa, of course I’m in!”

Ah ha! Jumping up and pulling herself from the sticky
frosting she licked her arms, legs and feet then slid
down cupcake mountain, bolted past strawberry ice
cream pond, glided down the counter top and zipped
under the door, skipping the rest of the way back to
the nest, joyfully singing the usual ant victory
song,“Hurrahhhh… Hurrahhh…!”
Rounding the corner, she halted. All the other ants
were parading back from a hard day’s work. The ants
went marching one by one singing, “Hurrahhhh
Hurrahhhh…”, but as she watched she thought, I just
don’t know how to act like all those other ants -they
may be singing but they do not look cheerful.
