We now know two stories of Helene and Sarah. But how did they ever become friends? You'll be surprised to know that they once hated each other.

It was the first day of school in Italy. Our main characters were starting first grade. 

"I'm so proud of you," Said Sarah's mother while dropping her to school. "I hope you enjoy the first day of grade 1." "Thanks, mom!!" Said Sarah. "I hope I get anyone in my class, but Helene. Last year, when she was in my class, she took a brick from my building! And there's more, but school will start now. Bye!" "Bye!" said her mother.

Helene and her father were sitting on their porch at home at 5 A.M. He was so happy for Helene. "Helene, I hope you have a great day at school. Be a good girl, okay? Don't fight with anybody." said her father. "I will, dad. But, if I get Sarah in my class, I will explode. So many things she did in kindergarden, like that day she at all my pepperoni from my pizza. I told her i love pepperoni Oh, Here's the bus. Bye, dad!" "Bye, Helene!"

So they reached the school and classroom. They got their seats. Helene was in 1A. And Sarah was in 1A as well! They were both in the same class. Sarah was in row 3, seat 1, and Helene was in row 3 seat 2. They were right next to each other! Both of them were super angry and annoyed.

Then the teacher came into the room. She said, "I am Ms. Katie, your class and English teacher. I am very excited to teach you, but now we have some rules I need to tell you. Rule 1: No speaking out of turn. Rule 2: Don't jump or play in the classroom. It is very important. Rule 3: Be kind to each other. Please don't fight. Rule 4. No copying. Even if your answer is wrong, don't copy other's. I can help you. Also, in any group activity, discuss with your partner."

Both of them could barely listen to class. They were having a silent fight. When it was over, they had a small recap quiz. "Now because of you, I am going to lose marks. I am so smart," Said Sarah. "Maybe if you weren't so busy insul-insult-insulting me, then you would be able to write your test. Now I'm going to lose marks too!"
