Once upon a time in the city of Mitchell there lived a girl named Prim.
One day Prim was looking for her pet cat Fluffy but she could not find her anywhere. As she was looking around the house, she noticed one of her sisters had left the back door opened.
"Oh no, Fluffy must have gotten out, I better go look for him". said Prim.

Luckily for Prim Fluffy had stepped in a mud puddle and left a trail of muddy paw prints. After following them for close to an hour, Prim found Fluffy behind a bush in the park.
"There you are Fluffy, I was wondering where you got to, come on lets go home". said Prim.

It was just then that Prim realised she didn't recognize where she was because she was new to town.
"Fluffy, I think we are lost, what are we going to do"? asked Prim concerned.
"Maybe if we walk around we will be able to find someone to help us". stated Prim.

Meanwhile, back at home Prim's Mother Liza had just finished making lunch.
"Girls, lunch is ready". her mother called.
When all the girls except Prim came, Liza asked the girls if they had seen her.

"No Mommy, none of us have seen her all day". Tammy answered.
"I better go look for her you girls finish your lunch". said Liza. Liza checked every room in the house, but she could not find her anywhere.

"Tammy I could not find Prim anywhere, could you go to friend Lexi's house and see if she is there"? asked Liza.
"Sure Mom, I'll head right over". answered Tammy.
"Thanks honey". replied Liza.

"Hi Lexi, have you seen Prim today"? asked Tammy.
"No I haven't why to you ask"? Lexi inquired.
"When my Mom called us for lunch, Prim never showed up and My mom couldn't find her anywhere". Tammy stated.
"Well she is not here, but I hope you find her". said Lexi.
When Tammy got home she told her Mom that Prim was not over at Lexi's house.
"Thanks, honey I better start calling neighbours to see if she is at any of their houses". said Liza.

Meanwhile after wandering around the park for a few hours, Prim finally found someone who could maybe help her.
"Excuse me madam, could you please help me, I'm lost". pleaded Prim.

"Of course honey, what's your name"? asked the lady.
"My name is Prim". she answered.
"Nice to meet you Prim my name is Nancy, do you know your home address"? Nancy asked.
"No, me my Mom and my sisters just moved here". she said sadly.
"Ok, do you know your Mommy's home phone number"? she asked.
"No I don't". Prim answered.

"Ok, I guess I will have to take you to the police station". said Nancy.
"Thank you, that would be very kind of you". said Prim gratefully.

When they got to the police station Nancy explained the situation to the officer on duty.
"Don't worry miss, we'll get this straitened out". said officer Wilde.
After calling all the neighbours and hearing that Prim wasn't at any of their houses, Liza was starting to get worried.
"Mom, are we ever going to see Prim again"? asked Tammy.

"I am sure we will, we will just have to figure this out". stated Liza.
"I better call the police and report her missing". said Liza.

"Hello, police department how can I help you"? asked the dispatcher.
"My daughter has been missing all day and we can't find her anywhere". said Liza.

"What is the child's name and how old is she"? asked the dispatcher.
"Her name is Prim and she is five years old". answered Liza.

"We just had a child brought in that answers to that name, does she have black hair and brown eyes"? asked the dispatcher.
"Yes, that's my daughter"! exclaimed Liza.

"You can come pick her up at the police station on Parkway street". said the dispatcher.
"Ok, I will be right there". said Liza.
