This book is for my best friend Evelyn. We both love leopards and tigers and big cats. I am in 5th grade when I’m writing this book and I love writing books and stories so this book is also for the creators of story jumper.

The sun was shining and it was 96 degrees outside, but still Ezra and his friends Alex the elephant and Toby the crocodile were playing outside. They were playing tag. Ezra was it.
Ezra ran up to Alex and barley touched him. “Tag, you’re it Alex!” Ezra yelled. The game went on until it was dark. “Dinner!” Ezra hear his mom call. Ezra waved his friends goodbye and they did their signature handshake, then Ezra headed home.

Ezra ran home and ate dinner with his mom and his brother, Peter. “How was school?” Ezra’s mom asked him and Peter. Peter told this cool story about his playing superheroes at recess. Ezra talked about his math class, with Mr. Blake as the new teacher. “We had jelly beans,” Ezra began. “And we make fake money out of paper. It was very exiting.” Peter was bummed out that he doesn’t have Mr. Blake as his math teacher. “Don’t worry about it, honey. Now off to bed.” Ezra and Peter rushed to bed.

Ezra and Peter went to their bedroom and fell asleep right away with their soft music and teddy bears. And, also, before they went to bed, Peter turned on his toothbrush before he stuck it in his mouth and toothpaste splattered everywhere! On the floor, on the mirror, on the door, and even in the toilet! So gross! Peter had to clean it up, but Ezra helped, because he’s a good brother.

The next day was a Saturday, and when Ezra and Peter woke up, their mom was still asleep! They rushed downstairs and got into every candy and treat they could find! They gobbled them like monsters. They loved candy. It was their favorite thing. “Hurry up eating Peter! I think mom is going to wake up soon!” Peter nodded and ate faster. They finally finished eating, and minutes later their mom came downstairs. “Good morning kids!” She said.

Ezra’s mom made a good breakfast of toast and blueberry muffins. Ezra and Peter loved it. “Can I go to Alex’s house mom?” Ezra asked. “Sure, honey.” His mom said. Ezra smiled, got his shoes on, and went out the door. Peter had a question too. “Mom, can I go to Freddie’s new house? Ezra knows where it is.” His mom nodded, and pointed to his shoes, that were in a corner by the stairs. “Thanks mom!” He said, as he walked out the door and followed Ezra to Alex and Freddie’s house.
