This book it dedicated to my cat plush Magic Kitty.

Once a upon a time, there was a kitten named Magic Kitty. She was outside the castle with one of the guards, Danny, the princess Emma, and Kate Lin joined them. They were talking about Growler. Magic Kitty meowed. Magic kitty remembers growler. He is a great guard dog. Danny said to Emma, "Don't you think only one guard dog isn't enough to guard the whole castle?" Emma had to think about it. "Well," she said. "Growler is pretty fast. He does have pretty good ears. I think it's good. If you want another guard dog, go talk to the queen. I'm not in charge." Kate Lin said, "Whatcha' talking about?" Danny said to Kate Lin that they were talking about Growler. Magic Kitty mewed twice. "I think Magic Kitty wants to go inside," said Kate Lin. "We can go inside," said Emma. Danny led the way to make sure that the princesses where safe.

When they were in the living room, Crystal was playing with Growler. "Hey, Crystal," said Danny. Crystal looked up. "Oh, hey Danny," she said. "What's up?" "Nothing really, just guard business, you know, serving the queen and stuff. Guarding the entrance," says Danny. "Everyday, Growler's been acting a little bit different. He just doesn't seem like Growler. Well, he's been in this kingdom a while," says Crystal. "He's getting slower. I don't think he's going to be able to guard. We might need a new one." Kate Lin says, "I'm going to talk to the queen. Anyone coming?" "I will," says Crystal. "Me too," says Emma. "Then I must come with," says Danny. They walk down the hallway. Magic Kitty came with. 

They walked a-a-all the way down the hall until they got to the big door of the throne room where the queen was. The guards that were standing there asked for the code. 568925. The doors opened. There in front of them was the queen. They walked down. "Crystal, you said you wanted to say something to the queen?" Danny asks. "Yes" said Crystal "I was wondering if we could get a new guard dog." "Why." the queen asks. " Because Growler isn't acting normal." Crystal said. "I approve. growler can still be a guard dog, but the new one will be the main one." the queen said. " Think  you, your majesty." says Crystal. 'And this was who I wanted you to meet." Says Danny. Her name is Amy. She's a new Princess.  She's a great on too."

"Hi." she says. Amy is not wearing a dress like the rest of the princesses in the room.

"Hello" Emma says formally.

"Can you teach me some things about being a princess here, Please?" Amy asks.

"Sure come with us." Kate Lin says cheerfully waving Amy over.

"You guys go ahead and I'll call all the rest over to the dressing room." Crystal says pulling our her phone.

"Ok see you later!" Kate Lin calls.

"Good bye!" Emma says calmly.

"Magic kitty, come!" Amy says firmly.

"Here we are. In the dressing room. Emma" Crystal says. Emma jumps in. "Alright so, there are three rules in this castle. Number one, you must wear a dress unless you are told not to." She began. " Number two, you MUST bow to the queen And three is you MUST.

   ABSOLUTLY MUST wear your tiara everyday." Emma finished.

"so, Pick your dress." Kate Lin says.

"OK," Amy said nervously. "Mew." Magic Kitty gave a meow so tiny only Amy could hear. ", Thanks." she says swooping down to put a small pat on Magic Kitty's head. And Amy pounces On a dress.    

"What do you think?" Amy says coming out of the dressing room.

"Wow. You look superb!" Emma says.

"And I love that you have shoes now." Kate Lin noted.

"Oh, yeah I saw a great pair and I thought I'd try them on." Amy replied.

"Come, let us go to Queen Lucy. so she can see your new dress." Crystal says walking dandily toward the door.

The guard opens it for them tipping his head to each princess.

'I'm really going to have to get use to that." Amy comments.

"I'm pretty used to it by now." Emma says.

'How did you be come a princess anyway?" Amy asks. "Well," Emma says stopping and closes her eyes.

"I was just a kid when my parents said I can't live with them anymore. Because in my family at the age they

 think you are ready to go off on your own they send  you off and you have two hours to pack up, finish any thing at home, and say good-bye. They sent me off at the age of 12. The youngest of all my family!" She said upset. her eyes started to well up with tears. "I was so sad! Streams of tears cascaded down my face as they gentle shooed me off. I came to the castle and that's I met Danny.

I through myself at him not caring if he'd bring me to the queen." Emma was full out crying now. "He hugged me and asked me what was wrong and told me it was going to be Ok. I told him everything I've told you in this story. He took my hand and lead me into the castle. I got  stares and glares from many. I'm sure they where wondering why there was a twelve year old girl in the castle all alone." Emma's crying had clamed down now. "When Danny opened the door to the queen room the queens eyes landed on me and they softened. she asked what I was doing here alone and I said My parents sent me off so she let me be a princess. Emma finished.

"Wow. I had no idea I'm sorry I asked." Amy says.

"No it's ok. Lets see the queen." Emma says fully recovered from her outburst.

"Indeed. She still needs to look at you." Kate Lin.

They walked down the long hall al the way to the thorn room. The king was in right now so they would get the kings opinion too.

"Here we are back at the thorn room." Crystal says.

"How can you guys keep doing this over and over again?" Amy says panting.

"You get used to it after a bit." Kate Lin says like it was nothing for her.
