There was a little worm named Toto who lived happily underground. His favorite thing to do is to walk around the soft earth and discover new things after every rain. One day after the rain, he inhaled the fragrant smell of the earth and fell on the roads. What did he see on that day's expedition?

He discovered many interesting things. Suddenly he heard a voice. He looked and noticed a brown ball jumping from branch to branch. He was a beautiful squirrel. He had a hazelnut in his hand, which he ate with pleasure.

Many merry birds chirped merrily. A thin stream of water flowed quietly, fluttering slightly. But suddenly a bush appeared .....

Behind the bush was hidden the rabbit Kiko who was watching what the worm and the squirrel were doing. Intrigued, he asked:

- "What are they doing? I could invite them to go for a walk!

With that thought in mind, he left the bush and went to meet them.

Suddenly...

The deer "JOJO" comes out of the forest and crashes into the Kiko rabbit. Rabbit Kiko asks: - Who are you? Where are you going so fast? Deer Jojo replies: - I'm Jojo and I'm so thirsty I'm going to the river for a drink. Kiko the rabbit warns: - Be careful, we are not alone!

Berna DURMAZ

The animals in the forest gather together and wonder what happened in the river. They begin to listen to the distant voice. They ask the rabbit Kiko what happened in the river. Kiko replied, "I'm a scaredy bunny. I hide behind the bush when I hear a noise. I don't know what's going on." Deer Jojo says: "We need the river to drink water." The squirrel says: -Let's go and see what's going on in the river. Cautiously they go to the river together. And they can't believe their eyes.

DESPOINA VOGIATZI

Three beavers were building a dam in the river. They cut tree branches with their teeth and drop them into the river. - Why are they doing this? The dam has reduced the flow of water and the noise is unbelievable. the squirrel wondered - I don't know. Kiko the rabbit agreed. Let's ask! Just like that, the animals went with all their courage to ask the beavers what they were doing and why they were doing it.

They came near the beavers and stopped. Kiko the rabbit immediately began to speak:

- Why are you cutting down trees and building a dam? In addition, the water in the stream decreased much more downstream of the river.

Bevo Beaver began to speak shyly:

- We need to build a dam for the safety of our homes, supplies and family. Thus, we are creating an ecosystem for aquatic creatures such as the endangered Salmon. We also contribute to the formation of groundwater. In the past, some animals were threatening our security, and now humans are threatening our extinction.

Kiko the rabbit swore:

-People? But why?
