Once upon a time there was a young fairy named Harmony who lived in the Enchanted Forest. She
lived in a small cabin with her pet cat, Sophie, and
with her mom.

3

One day while talking to her mom, Harmonyasked where the scar on her wing came from.
Her mom responded, "Let me tell you a story..."

4

"When you were a baby, you were born with a tornwing. The doctors said it was bad and you might
not ever fly. They said the most they could do was
stitch your wing back together."

5

"They stitched you up and the doctor said,'Okay miss, here is your new baby girl!'
I was so excited to take you home I didn't
even care that you had stitches on your wing!"

6

"That first night I held you so close andwas very happy. I knew having you wouldn't
be easy, but I was ready to help you grow!"
7

"Soon enough, you were all grown up and playingtoys by yourself wanting to be independent. Before
I knew it you were grown up to who you are today. I
am so proud of you for getting this far. The End!"
"Oh, that's how I got it, I was born with it? Can we
play something now?"

8

"Okay, let's go take a walk into town." They walked along the path all the way to town. When they got there, Harmony
saw all of the other fairies flying. She was so amazed. She knew
fairies could fly but her mom never flew in front of her.

9

"Hey guys come flying with us," said Meadow, one of the fairies."No thanks guys. We just came to walk" said Harmony's mom.
"Wow. Are you chicken or something? All fairies can fly! You aren't
a real fairy if you don't fly," said Meadow.
"Let's go home Harmony," replied her mom.

10

When they arrived at the house, Harmony spoke up. "Hey, Mom I wanna learn how to fly"
"Honey, I don't know if we should do that now."
"No, Mom I need to try to fly. I don't want to be different from all
the other fairies. I CAN DO THIS!"
"Okay darling, we can go try, but don't get your hopes up."
11

So they went to the park to practice. "Okay, you stand on the benchand jump; try to flap your wings!" Harmony jumped off the bench
all day long without any progress. She just kept going to the ground
instead of the air.
