Once upon a time, there was a monkey named
Momo the monkey. Momo is a simple monkey
living in the Monkey jungle, making a living by
selling bananas at his own shop, the banana stand.
He lived in his very own tree, and was popular.

Momo, at the time, was engaged to a monkey named
Sasha, one of the most beautiful Orangutans in the
jungle. She had glossy fur and a great personality that
Momo loved.

But, little did Momo know that his best friend, Wally
the gorilla, was plotting against him to end the
relationship.

Wally was a friend of Momo's for a long time, but started
to dislike him for he stole his love, Sasha.
So, wally did something very bad.

On a very cloudy day, Wally sneaked into the Great
Dane’s tree. The great dane is a fearless gorilla that is
accepted as the general leader of the Monkey Jungle.
Wally snuck in and stole the Great Dane’s priceless
bananas, which he kept for himself in an ornate fruit
basket.

Wally took the bananas and fled the scene.

The next day, Momo got an unusual visit from none
other than the Great Dane. The great Dane looked very
mad.

All of a sudden, the great dane shoved Momo aside,
climbed up to his tree, came down with what was none
other than the Great Dane’s bananas.

The Great Dane was in a fierce rage, and has decided
that the only viable punishment for Momo was
banishment from the Monkey Jungle. Momo was very
confused, and pleaded with the Great Dane to see
reason, because he didn’t know how the prized bananas
got into his tree. But, in the end, Momo was sent out of
the Monkey Jungle, with nothing but his bananas.

As Momo walked off, he took one last look back at the
Monkey Jungle, and saw 2 things: The Great Dane, staring
him down and waiting until Momo was out of sight, and his
friend Wally, grinning uncontrollably as Momo disappeared
over the Horizon.

5 years have passed since the fateful day when Momo
left The Monkey Jungle. He has now started a new life
in the Savannah, a land ruled by the Lion Pride, a group
of Lions that rule the Savannah.

Momo now operates his banana stand in the
Savannah. He doesn’t get much business, but what
little he did get was used to fill his belly. He was
generally happy now, taking on collecting shiny rocks
of considerable value as a hobby. He hid these in the
back of his house in a cupboard. Momo has gotten
over what happened 5 years earlier through this
hobby, keeping the memory suppressed and out of his
mind.. But little did he know that his life was about to
undergo another huge change...

In another part of the Savannah, Leo, one of the Princes
of the Lion Pride, was taking a stroll through the
savannah. Leo was a proud man, and one of the nicest
people around. Or so it seemed. Leo, in fact, was on his
way to meet someone. This someone was Monica, a squirrel
who Leo had become friends with a few years ago. Monica
was currently taking care of her baby daughter, whose father
has not been seen for a few years now.

Since the disappearance of the father, Leo has been
helping Monica take care of the child. But, recently,
Leo has been neglecting Monica in helping her raise her
daughter. Monica was upset about this, but was too
busy with her daughter to do anything about it at the
moment.

Leo at the moment was actually on his way to meet
Waldo, his brother which no one really likes. Waldo was
the only person that knew about Leo helping a squirrel.
And for good reason.

If anyone knew about Leo helping Monica, it would make
Leo seem weak, and he could lose not only his spot on the
Lion Pride throne, he would also lose any chance of getting
married to Natalie the lioness.

Natalie the lioness was a princess from the Jungle kingdom
that is staying in the Savannah to get closer to the Lion
pride.

Leo intends to propose to her soon, so he has neglected
visiting Monica so that no one would get the wrong idea.

But, as mentioned before, Waldo knew about his secret
and wanted something from Leo. Leo had no choice but
to agree to Waldo’s terms, otherwise he would run the
risk of losing everything he worked so hard to get in life.

What did Waldo want? It was nothing much really. He
wanted Leo’s necklace. Leo’s necklace is an artifact
that has been passed down through generation after
generation of the Lion pride. It has only sentimental
value to the Lion pride, and little value to most animals,
but Waldo wanted it because he knew that to the right
person it would be worth a lifetime of food!

Leo, knowing there was no other way, unwillingly gave
the family heirloom to his brother. Waldo then ran off.

Waldo planned to leave the Savannah with the
necklace, knowing that it would be more valuable
elsewhere, but first made a quick stop.

Based on some rumors he heard, he went to look at
the residence of Momo the Monkey. Momo, a
monkey, living in the Savannah was already
suspicious to Waldo. But he heard rumors of Momo
having a collection of rare rocks, rocks that are worth
a lot. Waldo thought, since he’s leaving, why not take
something extra with him? So he snuck into Momo’s
house, which was luckily unlocked, and took the metals
and ran for it. That would be the last time the Savannah
would see Waldo for a long time.

Momo returns to his house to find the door was
unlocked. He rushed to the back of his house, fearing
the worst, and found his cupboard open, and the rare
rocks gone. He reported this incident the to Lion Pride,
but was told that the criminal won’t be found anytime
soon.
