MONERA.
PROTISTA.
FUNGI.
PLANTS.
ANIMALS: VERTEBRATES AND INVERTEBRATES
Hi children!
Are you ready to know living things?

Do you know what a living thing is?
LIVING THINGS
NON-LIVING THINGS

Do you know what ALL living beings do?
Movement Animals move to find food and keep away from predators, plants seek the sunlight.
Reproduction Is the ability to produce offspring to keep the species in existence.
Sensitivity Responding and reacting to the environment.
Nutrition Animals need food for respiration, plants need water and minerals from soil.
Excretion Getting rid and waste.
Respiration Transform food in energy.
Growth Increase in size and weight over time.

PROTISTA: they are the most simple and ancient beings on Earth.
FUNGI: they are not animals or plants (they can´t photosynthesize).
ALGAE: they are aquatic organisms.
ANIMALS: are the longest and most complex group on Earth.
PLANTS: they make their own food using photosyntesis.

CAN YOY TELL ME SOMETHING ABOUT PROTISTA KINGDOM?
They are the first living beings to conquer the planet.
Bacteria or Monera kingdom are organisms that only have one cell.
Some bacteria make their own food, but others feed on living things.
Bacteria can live in water, on land, and even as parasites
as Enterococcus faecium, that help us in the digestive
process.
Bacteria reproduce by doubling, and dividing many times:

ANYBODY TELL ME ABOUT PROTISTA KINGDOM?
Protista or Algae kingdom live in acquatic ecosystems, such as rivers, lakes or the sea.
They make their own food using sunlight, through photosyntesis.
They reproduce by means of male and female
spores, Which will produce a new adult alga:

Fungi look like plants, but they are not because they don´t make their own food.
They are descomposers, they feed on other organic matter that falls to the soil.

They reproduce by spores, which fall to the soil, germinate, grow and become an adult fungus.

Plants can make their own food using sunlight, through the chlorophyll in their leaves they perform photosynthesis.
Plants have several parts:
