Sky's Miracle

There is so much suffering in this world. Why does God let this happen, Mom and Dad

Sky was having a rough day. In school today, she was taught about wars and sickness in history class. She found the discovery to be sad because she believes that everyone should love each other like God loves us. 

The parents saw tears rolling down their daughter's face and came up with an idea!

Why don't you do something to show someone the love that God wants us to share with the world? Kindness is a powerful thing!

Sky thought about what she could do to show God's love to someone. Then she thought of the most sparkling, fantastic idea!

I'm going to share my gift of dancing with my neighbor, Ms. Angela! She lost her husband last year and seems so lonely. I want to show her God's love.

Mom and dad thought that it was a great idea and decided to call Ms. Angela on speaker phone to invite her.

Hi, Ms. Angela. We hope you are doing well! We are calling because our daughter wanted to dance for you! Would you be okay with that?

Hi... Yes, I would love that! Come over tomorrow at 5. See you then!

Ms. Angela was so excited she could hardly wait! She hadn't had company for a long time and was praying that God would send someone to brighten her days. This may be the answer to her prayer.

At school the next day, all Sky could think about was what dance moves she was going to show Ms. Angela. She was so excited that she danced her way out of her classroom to meet her dad.

Good luck tonight, Sky! You'll do great!

Sky's dad picked her up from school. They talked about their day, prayed about tonight, and decided to get ice cream before Sky's performance!

Sky and her dad went to their favorite ice cream shop and got their usual order, the rainbow ice cream cone. This evening is having a good start! Sky now feels ready for her show.
