Maya is walking to school with her friend, Rosie. "Winter break starts tomorrow! I'm so excited because my mom told me we would go camping at Dawn City Campsites." Said Rosie. "Good for you, Rosie. During my winter break, I have to go to a boring yoga session with my parents. Nothing exciting." Mumbled Maya. "Woah. I hate yoga sessions. I would rather eat rotten, stinky cheese then do yoga." Said Rosie. Maya lived in Dawn City. There was a legend that superheroes lived in Dawn City since medieval times, but suddenly disappeared in 1960. 

Maya and Rosie walked into class. "You're late 20 minutes!" Said their teacher, Ms. Rosaline. "Sorry, Ms. Rosaline!" They said. They sat down. Ms. Rosaline was teaching them about pollution, and how to help the earth. Maya thought about the legend of the superheroes in Dawn City. She had never believed it. She obviously needed proof to believe it, so after school, she decided to go to Hei Ro Cavern, which by legend, was their secret hideout.

Instead of going home, Maya went on Unknown Road. Maya brought the Hero Book with her just in case she needed more information about something. "Hmm. I think I remember this road from the book. It says, "This road leads to the heroes' secret base. It is also a passage for the Hero Birds to go thru. The Hero Birds are spies and pets for the Heroes." Wow, that's cool, but I still need proof from the "Heroes"." She said.

Meanwhile, Hero Birds that Maya didn't see went to Hei Ro Cavern to report the news to the heroes. "Guys! Guys! We saw a human on the Unknown Road! I think she's coming to visit!" Said the 2 birds named Luca and Avery. "Then we must prepare arrival!" Said the Heroes. Maya took a break to eat and drink water packed in her backpack.

Maya finally reached the secret base, and was amazed when she saw it. There was a sign that said welcome, dozens of flowers, confetti spread everywhere, a nice painting, and even a painting on the ground of a rainbow and a some stars. Maya gasped. "Wow! So it is true! This is so beautiful! I wonder what it looks like inside.." Maya said as she knocked on the majestic door. "Hello?" Said a soft voice. "Who is this?" Said a strong voice. "Maybe it's the girl. Let's open the door." Said the voice of a boy. Someone opened the door and invited Maya inside.

Maya saw the Heroes and was amazed. "Wow! So you do actually exist? But why did you disappear?" She said. "*Sighs*, well, people stopped believing in us and technology was getting better. People found solutions to problems, and they didn't really need us anymore." Said the oldest member. "But-But! Let's introduce this girl to the people in our team." Said the soft-voiced girl. "Ok. The girl with the heart necklace is Lovelock. She uses blasts to stop the Villains and her Love power to heal us when were hurt. That's Powershot and she has superstrength and superagility. I'm Princess Flower and I have a magic umbrella. I can also control plants and flowers. That's Fiercella and she is very brave and has a sword that has more power when she is confident. That's Green Boy. He can shoot lasers out of his hands and has x-ray vision. That's Blue Ninja and he is very sneaky and has shurikens to attack enemies. That's Hacker Boy and he is very smart and can hack anything very easily." Said Princess Flower.
