This story is dedicated to my first granddaughter Gabriella, who is full of life and loves everything about princesses and unicorns.

It was a typical fun day for Gabriella. Playing dress-up in all of her favorite princess dresses plays house with all of her favorite princesses, and watches all of her favorite princess movies. But now it was time for bed. As usual Gabriella's mom told her that she could pick out a book to read before bed. As she looked through her books, she saw a book that was all about princesses and
unicorns, so of course, she chose that book
for her nightly story.

Gabriella gathered two of her favorite princesses, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, and climbed into bed. As she snuggled under the covers her mom began reading her the story about a beautiful princess who went to an Enchanted Colorful garden. As her mom continued reading the story, Gabriella drifted off to sleep and began to dream of a beautiful enchanted colorful garden, just like the one that her mom was reading about.

In her dream, Gabriella wandered through the garden looking at all of the beautiful things that surrounded her. In the distance, she heard a noise of singing and laughter, so she headed to see what was going on. Once there she saw several princesses singing and dancing in their beautiful dresses and her eyes gleamed with delight.
Being shy, she stayed hidden from the princesses, so as not to be seen, but one of them saw her anyway hiding behind a bush and invited her to join them.
Seeing all of the princesses in their beautiful dresses made Gabriella smile from ear to ear. This was truly a dream come true for her.
The princesses invited Gabriella to go back with them to their castle. Along the way, they came upon a very beautiful and colorful unicorn, that Gabriella named "corn corn".

Once they arrived at the castle the princesses invited Gabriella to try on all of their beautiful dresses. This excited Gabriella, as this was something that she loved to do at home. However, at the same time, this made Gabriella sad and she became scared because she realized that she was not at home in her bed and her mom was not with her. This caused Gabriella to begin to cry.
Several of the princesses gathered around Gabriella and began to sing to comfort her. As they sang Gabriella began to feel calm and drifted back to sleep. This time not dreaming about the princesses and unicorns, but of her mom sitting on her bed reading her a story.
As Gabriella woke from her dream she found her mom still sitting on her bed next to her and that made all of her fears disappear.
She told her mom all that she had dreamed about, getting to dress up in all of the beautiful princess dresses, the beautiful unicorn that she met, and how when she was scared the princesses sang to her to comfort her and she wasn't scared anymore.

Mom hugged and kissed Gabriella good night and told her that she needed to go back to sleep.
As Gabriella drifted back to sleep yet again, she began dreaming the same dream as before.
As she dreamed she once again her eyes gleamed with the delight of all the beautiful things that she saw and experienced in the enchanted colorful garden.
