Long ago, there were two gods named Dua and Chuoi. Dua was a powerful, handsome god, and Chuoi was a beautiful goddess who donned a bright red and yellow ao dai. They had one child and named him Binh Nuoc.

One day while Binh's mother, Chuoi, was going for a walk to harvest food in the humid tropical forest, she found a baby boy in the leaves sitting out in the heat. She felt sorry for the poor boy and decided to raise it and named him Nuoc Mam.

The boys grew up as brothers and played together. However, their parents favored Binh since he was naturally gifted and their true son.

Binh Nuoc and Nuoc Mam would be taught by their father, Dua, on how to become powerful leaders. As the brothers grew up together, they learned from their father's teachings that Binh's mind was brighter than the sun1, and Nuoc Mam was a mountain2.

Despite their differences, the brothers did everything together. They played soccer together and ate pho together and grew together, and argued like any other siblings would3. They even practiced their Vovinam martial arts together.

One day when the brothers were all grown up, Dua sent them on a journey to prove their skill of everything he has taught them. Their test was to go build an empire and gather a population of over 10,000. Dua gave them both the gift of flight to made finding a location less challenging.

So, the brothers flew off looking for a valid location to build their empires. But before they split ways, they agreed to be neighboring empires, so they can help each other and pass the test together.

Nuoc Mam wanted a place to build a strong, impenetrable nation. So, he glided over to a place surrounded by dense, wet rainforest jungles, A mountain range, high in altitude, with cold and brittle air4.
But, Binh Nuoc had a more thought out plan. He went south of the mountains to the rolling wetlands near the river. He knew he needed a place with fertile land to grow crops and expand his empire. So, Binh got to work naming his future empire

After roughly fifteen years, Binh's empire became very successful and populous. Its population was growing at a exponential rate, and it had as much art and culture as Greece5.
