Authoritarian 

Authoritarian parenting is a very strict parenting style. Parents value obedience, discipline and control over having an emotional bond with their child. There is absolutely no room for mistakes 

Pros- Children are very obedient

Cons- Children may rebel against rules, Thereś no trust, Children may struggle with insecurities such as low self esteem

Effects- Children who have authoritarian parents are more prone to rebelling against rules/laws when their older, are not able to make their own decisions because decisions were made for them when they were younger and are more prone to mental disorders such as anxiety, depression etc. 

                  Authoritative

Authoritative parents value their children needs and enforce rules in a healthy way. Unlike Authoritarian parents Authoritative parents have open and honest conversations with their children and teach values and reasoning.  

Pros- Authoritative parenting implements trust between parent and child, parents with this parenting style are very nurturing they raise kinder children, kids are more likely to achieve higher grades,  more pros than cons

Cons- It is harder to implement if you have none cooperating children, it takes a lot of patience and open mindedness

Effects- Well developed children, higher self esteem raises ambitious kids 

                    Permissive 

Parents who are permissive are not demanding. Children are given few responsibilities and are allowed to control their behavior and the majority of their choices. When a parent is permissive, they regard their child as an equal rather than as the child of the parent. 

Pros- Kids tend to be more independent, Good communication skills, Enhanced imagination, and Improved positive

Cons- Kids may partake in risky behavior, Lack of boundaries, Undeveloped comping skills, more prone to be disrespectful

Effects- More prone to partake in dangerous activities such as substance abuse,  Prone to aggressive behavior.
