Mr and Mrs Verbs say goodbye to

their older children: to Be, to Have and to Do. They’re leaving for Erasmus studies in France.

They have grown and transformed into will Be, will Have, will Do. They’re curious and ready to build their future by meeting other cultures.

They get to their new campus “The

future”.

“It will be funny!” says will Be.

“We will do interesting things!” shouts will Do.

"I will have a lot of friends” claims will Have.

On their first day, les deux auxiliaires "Être" et “Avoir” go knocking on their door to invite them for some activities.

“Bonjour, vous viendrez au cours de

M.ALLER tout à l’heure?”

”What?? We don’t understand French for now”.

“Will you go with us in Mr Aller’s class?

Il nous expliquera comment bien nous

former pour le futur”.

Être et Avoir partent rejoindre le professeur ALLER qui a organisé une Chasse au trésor à l’intérieur de la salle de conjugaison du Musée des Langues et Cultures.

La chasse se déroule dans la salle de

l’indicatif. Les verbes cherchent les indices et peu à peu ils vont constituer une grande affiche sur le “FUTUR”.

Will Have, will Be and will Do look at this

“C’est facile” dit PARLER, le grand bavard, “il faut commencer par repérer les indices terminaisons”.

“J’ai trouvé” crie TROUVER. “I’ve got all of them, they’re 6: -AI ; -AS; -A; -ONS; -EZ; -ONT”.

“Wow” dit AVOIR, “ça ressemble à mes

terminaisons du présent! ”

“Maintenant, il faut trouver le Radical des verbes” dit PARLER. “Qui se met à

chercher les indices du radical?”

Will Do says: “I will do, I always do things!”

En compagnie de CHERCHER, will Do looks around him and sees a blue box with a short message: “Take a French verb, take his infinitive and then put the 6 terminaisons at the end“.
