For so long, Katie always wanted a dog. She dreamt of having one for so long, a best friend that she could play with, and be best friends with. One thing for certain was that she never knew when she was going to get one... She always dreamt and imagined what her dog would look like....

In her dream, Katie used her imagination of what her dog would be like. Her dog would be fluffy, fun, loved to give her kisses, cuddles and always liked to play games with her. She imagined her dog to be a girl and she would be the prettiest dog ever to exist with tan fur and she would name her Cloie.

It started when Katie woke up on Christmas morning. Her mom and dad were waiting for her smiling big.  She rubbed her eyes and looked at the tree. There was only one present under the tree, and tomorrow it was her Fourth birthday. She pointed saying," Mommy and Daddy, what is that one big present under the tree? The reason is because It is moving!" 

Her parents smiled as she began opening it. Inside was a little golden retriever puppy. Her parents looked at her looking back at the dog with tears as they said, " Why are you crying honey?" Katie cried and hugged the puppy, because she is exactly what I wanted, I feel so happy!"

Months passed and Cloie was growing and Katie and Cloie woke up that morning ready for her day! They got up and Katie looked at the time and it was 8:30 am and she knew mom would have breakfast waiting," Cloie it is time for breakfast, and I am going to eat Pancakes and I will share them with you!" 

That morning Katie ate her breakfast and shared some with Cloie. She thought about the plans for the day with her best friend. She turned to her mom, " Mommy, Me and Cloie are going to go to the park soon for a walk around the block!"
