Carl was so excited for his first day of school!

YAY 

SCHOOL!!!

When he walked in, he noticed all of his classmates. Though Carl was really nervous.

He got to meet all of his classmates, and soon the 1st-grade class was going to get started on a project. Carl realized that maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all!

Maybe this wont be so bad!

Soon Mrs. Zoot explained to the class all of the directions. 

PELASE GET OUT:

- pencil

- glue

- scissors

While Carl was listening to Mrs. Zoot, he realized that he never brought scissors to school.

What am I going to do now...

He looked around the classroom and noticed everyone getting their supplies out. He was scared and didn't know what to do.

He looked over at Annica and saw that she had all of her supplies laid out on her desk.

Annica had gotten up to go to the bathroom, so Carl decided that he needed  to make his move.

HMMMM.....

Then, Carl ended up with some scissors. Do you know how he got them?

When Annica came back to her desk, she realized that her scissors were missing. So she raised her hand to let Mrs. Zoot know.

Mrs. Zoot, my 

scissors are missing...

Mrs. Zoot was already aware that Carl didn't bring scissors because his mom already let her know this morning.

I forgot to pick up scissors!

That's fine! 

Don't worry about it. 

Okay, thank you!

So as she looked around the classroom, she saw that Carl had some scissors... That didn't make much sense...
