Dolphins, which can emit 200 thousand vibrating sound waves per second, can know the speed, size and shape of the objects on their route thanks to these features. The sonar system was also invented based on the same principle.

is for Grimpoteuthis
Most Grimpoteuthis species live at depths of at least 3,000 to 4,000 meters above sea level, while some live below 7,000 meters, the deepest inhabited by any known octopus. These are a rare species of the Octopoda species, although they occur worldwide, including in the waters of New Zealand, Australia, Monterey Bay, Oregon, Philippines, Martha's Vineyard, Papua New Guinea and the Azores. The largest dumbo octopus ever recorded was 1.8 meters long and weighed 5.9 kilograms. The average size of most species is 20–30 centimeters in length. Average weight is still uncertain.

is for HYDROPHOBIA (LOTUS EFFECT)
The lotus effect, otherwise, known as superhydrophobicity ,is the effect seen on the leaves of the Lotus Flower, where water is not able to wet the surface and simply rolls off. This high repellence is due to the nanostructure of the plane ,where microprotrusions coated in waxy hydrophobic materials to repel water. This is also self-cleaning mechanisms as dirt particles also stick to the water molecule.

is for Japanese Bullet Train
Japanese Bullet Train is a high-speed rail network in Japan.
Due to the extreme speed of the trains, they create a lot of noise pollution so the bullet train engineers tried to reduce the sound by imitating kingfisher's beak having a triangular cross-section with curved sides.
They shaped the train as in the example of kingfisher's beak.By doing so they not only reduce the sound pollution but also reduce the energy consumptions and high costs.

Heavily inspired by the structure and organization of honeycombs, design studio Gianluca Santosuosso has introduced the ‘hive-human-inclusive & versatile ecosystem’. Combining the properties of the beehive with the shape of the archetypal house. The project creates a new hybrid type of living space, able to merge nature’s efficiency with the ingenuity of humans.

Swedish engineer Georges de Mestral (1907- 1990), while walking with his hunting dog on Mount Jura in 1948, noticed that the fruits of thorn grass, known as pitrak, got caught in the wool of his hunting trousers and in the fur of his dog. When viewed with a magnifying glass, hundreds of tiny hooks are visible on the phlox fruits. Mestral invented the velcro fastening, usually made of small flexible nylon hooks, this design idea is one of the best known and best examples of biomimetic design. Today, Velcro is frequently used in textile, industrial design and many other fields.
