While in class one day, Lily heard her teacher talking about a school play that was going to put on by the 5th graders. Her teacher Ms. Ryan, asked the class if anyone would like to join. Lily was interested  because she loves acting  but she knew she was too shy to perform in front of a lot of people. Lily decided she would think about it and decide tomorrow.

Later on at home, Lily decides to talk to her mom about joining the play.  She tells her mom how excited she is to hear about the play but also how she is nervous about joining. Her mom, Anna, encourages her to join because she is so passionate about acting. Anna tells Lily that it is normal to be scared but not to let it stop her from doing something she loves. 

As Lily was walking to school she decided that she would join the play. Before making her decision, Lily kept thinking about how fun it would be and how she could also make new friends. As excited as she was, lily was still a little nervous about performing in front of a lot of people.

As soon as Lily got to school she went to the teacher who was directing the play to tell her she was going to join the play. The teacher was excited to hear the news. She started telling Lily about the play and about rehearsals. Lily knew she made the right decision. 

Lily was so excited she almost forgot to ask what part she was going to play. She learned she would be playing the one of the main characters.

Since lily is playing one of the main characters she has to go rehearsal everyday. During the first rehearsal, Lily got to meet everyone she would be in the play with. At the end, Lily was starting to become confident in herself. 

The day of the last rehearsal came and Lily was starting to feel more nervous than she was when she joined the play. 

When I....

During the last rehearsal, as Lily was practicing her lines she became nervous and forgot one of her lines. She wasn't happy about it because she was scared it was going to happen during the play.
