"I'm going to take Comet out for a walk around the neighborhood," Joey told his dad.

     "Ok," his dad warned, "Don't go into the narrow alleys because those parts of the city are dangerous."

     But Comet only heard "Comet walk."

    So then the duo went out for a walk. But, Comet saw a squirrel. "Comet, no!" Joey exclaimed, "don't chase the squirrel, please!"

     But all Comet heard was "Comet, chase  squirrel." So Comet started chasing the squirrel and with a SNAP the leash broke.

    Comet started running after the squirrel. He ran and ran until the running ran its course. At one point Comet thought he lost the squirrel but then he spotted it again behind a tree. Then in the blink of an eye, he went back to running.

    Eventually, Comet ran so far that once he lost the squirrel, he had no idea where he was! So Comet started looking around for Joey. But it was just leading him in circles. Comet was so lost he felt like a fish out of water.

    Eventually, Comet ran into a dark and foreboding alley. Then a shady guy started talking to Comet while holding out a treat, "Buddy, Come here, I definitely won't take you away."

    But all comet heard was "I take you." Comet didn't trust this stranger but he was holding out his favorite treat so Comet came up to the man.

    When Comet got close to the mysterious man the mysterious man lunged at Comet and grabbed him with a net. Comet was scared because good people don't grab random dogs! So Comet Started barking and barking, BARK BARK BARK.

    With all this barking, the man quickly tried putting Comet into a cage. Comet knew that this was a bad person. When This bad person put Comet into the cage he forgot to lock it! Comet was able to escape and run out of the cage.
