Daisy lived in a town and 4 blocks away was her dance studio. Daisy always wanted to be a pro ballet dancer, but she keeps messing up even if she practices very hard. 

Daisy's coach said that there would be a performance in a month, so they had to get ready. Daisy was scared. She thought that she could mess up! They started with a warmup and there stretches, but all Daisy was thinking is if she should tell her teacher to drop her out of the show.

Daisy also had an older sister names Clara. She was a great dancer and never made mistakes, but Daisy always wishes to be just like her.

Daisy's coach shows the class there acts and who they are in the show. Daisy finds out its a Christmas play, and she is Mrs. Clause! She was the main person of the show! Now she was really scared.

Daisy's tummy had butterfly's and she walked home to practice. She had to do a clockwise spin a double spin a double leap and a purrette! That was a lot to Daisy. 

American Girl

She went into the practice room. Her dad built it when she was 4. She did a clockwise spin, double spin, and a purrette, but when she did that purrette, she fell. Daisy sat next to her window thinking that she could not do it, but then...

Her sister came in and asked what she was doing, and Daisy told her that she was practicing for a Christmas play. Clara said, " Do u need help it looks like u just fell."  "Kinda I am having trouble with my Perrette."

Clara taught Daisy now to do a purrette  and Daisy did a great job with her Perrette, now she was doing it all day, but she knew she had to practice her other parts.

When she got to her class her teacher was at her chair and her ballet classmates were at the center practicing their parts. Her teacher asked if she could see Daisy's parts for the show and daisy said alright. Daisy was scared and thought she could mess up! She had butterfly's again and started her routine.

Daisy did her stuff scared and her teacher asked her to smile but she could not make that smile. After she did her routine, her teacher said " You did really great but make sure to smile".

When she got home Daisy smelt pie and it was blueberry! Her mom stella was in the kitchen taking out the pie and said, "your just in time for grape pie!" But then Daisy was confused. She never had grape pie before, and she thought that it was blueberry pie her fav.

Her mom gave her a slice, but Daisy just stared at it. Her mom said " aren't u going to eat you pie? U love pie!" Daisy got her fork and scooped some of the pie onto her fork. She slowly put it into her mouth but when she did, she loved it!But she told her mother it was good but not better then blue berry pie.

Daisy and her sister Clara were practicing in the dance room. while daisy did her routine she was smiling. But when she was near her teacher, she got nervous and dizzy. She asked Clara why that keeps happening and she said " Well you have to not care about the people. Like I'm right here and you're still smiling."  "True" said Daisy. Just think about something u like.

While she did her routine, she thought about her puppy named Custer and she was smiling about the time she first got him. Clara yelled " Ur doing it!" And she was.

It's been 3 weeks and there was 1 more week until the show! Her teacher showed each of them their costumes and Daisys was so pretty! Daisy's coach asked if she could see each of their routine and when it was her turn, she thought of when she got her puppy and she begin to smile.

Her teacher said, "U did great with your smile!" Daisy said ty and went to do her exercises with her class.

It was the day before the show and Clara was going to be in it too. Daisy's teacher gave her a present prop to hold during the show. Daisy had to wear a red dress. Daisy was so excited for the next day and so was Clara!

They all ate their dinner and the family talked about the show.  Clara said, " it's going to be great on a big stage with like 1,000 people watching us!" Daisy got sick when she said 1,000 people but she was still very happy to go on stage.

It was the next day and Clara and Daisy's mom drove them to the theater. Daisy's mom said, "I'll be going to buy tickets!" Clara and Daisy nodded and went into backstage. 

When she and her sister got back stages her coach asked them to get dressed and ready in the locker room. They went and got their costumes and makeup on. Before Daisy went to get ready, she peeked open the curtain and saw a beautiful big stage!

After they were done getting on their costumes, she saw a girl saying, "I don't want to go on stage it's scary!" Daisy walked up to her and said it's not scary! Just think about something u love! The girl tried her routine and thought about her pet rabbit named Lizz. She said it really worked and she told Daisy ty.
