Tyrannosaurus Rex

These dinosaurs lived throughout what is now western North America. The tyrannosaurus was also known as a bipedal carnivore. The most known feature of the tyrannosaurus is their relatively powerful hind legs with short powerful arms. They grew to be a little over 40 ft tall!

Spinosaurus

These Dinosaurs lived in North Africa. Spinosaurus' were the largest of all known land carnivores. They were known to have eaten fish. They think it was between 41-59 ft tall! The spines of the spinosaurus grew to at least 5'4".

Velociraptor

The velociraptor was a bipedal, feathered carnivore. This dinosaur was roughly the size of a turkey.

Brachiosarus

Brachiosaurus use to live in North America and most of their fossils were found in Colorado, United States. This dinosaur were believed to be 59-69 ft! These dinosaurs were known for their long necks. Unlike the other three, this dinosaur walks on all four legs.

Giraffatitan

They were found and belived to have lived in Tanzania. They were also herbivores. Giraffatitans had a giraffe like build. They were thought to be the largest dinosaur known but that later changed. It is said it took them 10 years to reach their full size!

Jobaria

These dinosaurs had long neck and were also herbivores. They were also said to be 70 ft tall! They were also found in Niger, Africa. Jobaria dinosaurs are the most complete long-necked dinosaur ever discovered.

Stegosaurus

The Stegosaurs is a four legged armored  herbivore. They are characterized by their distinctive kite shaped upright plates on their back as well as the spikes on their tail. Their fossils were also found in the western United States. This is one of the most recognizable dinosaurs.

Ankylosaurus

These dinosaurs were also armored and they were found in western North America. They were about 20-26 ft long. It also walked on four feet like some of the other dinosaurs. Its nostril faced sideways instead of forward like most. This dinosaur also had a club at the end of the tail.
