This book is dedicated to my future class. I am so excited to begin teaching and I can't wait to teach my students about the Water Cycle

Atmosphere is the area in the sky where the clouds are. The clouds are made of water that will eventually fall back down to the earth.

Brook is a stream of water that is smaller than a river. The way of telling if a body of water is a brook is determined by the shallowness of the water. Brooks are very shallow.

Condensation is when warm air and water comes in contact with a cold surface and collects onto the surface.

Dew is water droplets that form usually at night on surfaces with colder temperatures.

Evaporation is the process in which water turns into a gas and rises into the atmosphere.

Fog is a cloud like vapor that is made out of water droplets that are floating together near the earth's surface.

Grass needs water in order to stay grow and stay green. During droughts grass may turn brown due to not having enough water
Heavy Rain is one of the types of precipitation. This can lead flooding.

Ice is one of the many ways that water is used in the world. This is a use of water that people see daily.

Majority of the world is made of water. About 2/3 of the earth is water.

The Sky is an important part of the water cycle. The sky is where the evaporation goes and where the precipitation comes from.

Lakes are areas of water that are surrounded by land. There are many different lakes around the world.

Mountains can create runoffs which is when the water from the precipitation is not absorb into the mountain and the water rolls down into a body of water.

Natural Hazards are disasters that effect the environment and humans. Some of them are related to water like hurricanes, floods, and tsunamis.

Oceans are a large body of water, There are five oceans. They include the Atlantic, Pacific, Indian, Southern, and Arctic ocean.
