   Yılmaz family is a nuclear but social family consisting of father Murat Bey, mother Ayşe Hanım and twins Selin and Berat. Yılmaz family does many activities to spend the summer vacation and they plan to go camping in the forest one day. They make an agreement with Uzun Turizm, rent a caravan and prepare to go to the forest. 

        Berat and Selin are very happy to spend time together and therefore they did everything together. When her parents said they were going camping in the forest, they were very happy because they liked to explore new places. Berat was interested in various stones and Selin in different tree leaves, and this camp was a great opportunity for their collections. Immediately the twins came running to their father. - Dad, is there a waterfall or river in the forest we're going to? ' Berat asked. Because he knew that there were all kinds of stones in the rivers, and he liked to dip his feet in the river.

Dad, how many kinds of trees are there in the forest, are they very tall? ' Selina asked. Because he also loved to collect tree leaves, and while collecting those leaves, he loved to climb the tree and examine the surroundings and look at the bird nests.

-Calm down guys, I think you both will like the place we're going to, but I won't say anything because it's a surprise. ' his father replied.

Then they ran to their mother, Ayşe Hanım, and asked little questions while helping their mother prepare the furniture.

-Mom, what are the most important things we should take with us when we go camping? ' asked the curious Selin.

     -When Selin goes to the forest, we definitely need enough food and water with us, but apart from these, we should not forget to take a compass, map and flashlight. said her mother.

-Mom, is there a bear in the forest we're going to? ' Berat asked.

     Her mother and Selin started laughing because Berat seemed a little scared when asking this question. Ayşe Hanım immediately hugged Berat and said;

   - Of course, there are no bears there, my son, you do not need to be afraid, because bears do not live in this area. she said.

    Berat took a deep breath, then got his things ready. D

They set out with a caravan early in the morning. Along the way, they listened to music, chatted, parked their caravan and ate the food they prepared together. While passing through some villages on the way, they saw herds of cows and sheep. They were jotting down strange things they saw along the way in their diaries. Finally they arrived at the campsite. They found a flat area and parked the trailer there. It was getting dark and they lit a fire to keep them warm. It was very late and the journey had exhausted them, so they immediately went to sleep.

Early in the morning the children got up and wanted to surprise their parents. Selin and Berat prepared a nice breakfast, but they saw that the fire was out and they thought of the barbecue that their father had promised them, they could not find wood around, so they decided to go to the forest to collect wood and wrote a small note and left it to their parents.

-My Selin, can we take your bag with us? We put what we collect for our collections. said Berat.

  -Of course, Berat, I will take my bag right away and I will put the things my mother wanted us to carry with us. Said

- All right, Selin, hurry up, let's go back before my parents wake up. said Berat.

Havva ZEYBEK

The children set off into the forest. The leaves they saw at that time attracted Selin's attention and she began to collect them. A little further, they began to hear the sound of the river's water and they moved towards that direction because Berat thought there would be beautiful stones there. They started to head in that direction quickly, but they didn't realize that they were too far from the camp. Every new thing they saw excited them and they enjoyed exploring. When they reached the river, Berat found the stones he had never seen and immediately put them in the bag. They forgot to collect wood and started playing in the river. They didn't realize that the clock was ticking so fast. Their parents had woken up and were looking for them everywhere. Finally, Selin realized that they had not gathered any wood, the hour had passed, and called Berat.

-Berat, we have to go back to the trailer now. We didn't notice the time while playing the game, my parents were already awake. said Selina in fear.

-I think you're right, Selin, we should go home now, but I don't remember which direction we came from. said Berat.

 I don't remember either, Berat, but I think I know a way to find our way. said Selina.

İlknur KASAPOĞLU

-Of course, the compass and the map in the bag! Thanks to them, we can find our way and benefit from what we learned in the orienteering project. said Berat.

  -We will definitely do that. Said Selin and took out her compass and map from her bag, then marked the river where they were on the map, and they remembered that the camp was in the north of the forest. Using the compass, Berat could understand which direction was north, and using this knowledge, they took his twin and started walking towards the camp. Then Selin found another tree leaf she had collected and they were sure that they were on the right track.
