This children’s book is about a turtle named Toby, meant to bring awareness to the endangered turtles in our world. I want to reach the attention of our younger generation(s) so they can see that if we stop littering and start taking the plastic out of the ocean, it will make an impact on our environment, and can help save the turtles. I want them to grow up believing in saving endangered animals and our planet. I plan to read it at schools and libraries around our community to raise awareness. With the money raised from the sales of this book, I plan to donate a portion of the proceeds to SeeTurtles.org, an organization that is currently working to clean and purify our oceans and help these animals.

Toby the turtle was swimming in the Great Big Ocean when one day, he saw a Great Big Boat dragging a Great Big Net!

The strong current pulled little Toby into the Great Big Net!

"HELP ME! Someone Help!" Toby yelled into the Great Big Ocean.

The Great Big Net began to pull little Toby out of the water!

There was a bed of trash surrounding Toby in the Great Big Net.

The humans dumped the trash and little Toby out of the Great Big Net, onto their Great Big Boat.

It felt like a billion Great Big Eyes were on little Toby.

"Awww, poor little guy!" A Great Big Pair of hands reached down to pick up Toby.

Toby was lifted out of the trash and set down on a Great Big Table. A Great Big Whimper came out of Toby, the plastic ring around his neck made it hard for him to breathe!
