Dear Garden,

Today I learned that in order to reach you, I need to find a home for you. Apparently you need sunlight and shade. Therefore, I need to find a place in which you can receive both. I believe I know the perfect spot. It happens to be right outside my backdoor.

Dear Garden,

I will NOT fill you with compacted soil. Today I learned that you need loose soil. Loose soil allows roots to grow and spread throughout the soil. Did you know that soil that is dark brown or black is considered to have lots of organic material?

Today my mom warned me that I will encounter insects on this journey. I am going to be honest, I am highly afraid of bugs. However I will try to be brave for you because I know that you need me to be.
