Miguel loves to play soccer outside with his friends. Miguel is the best soccer player in his friend group.

He changes into his soccer clothes when he goes to play outside. There are stains on his clothes from eating beans.

Miguel's best friend Ryan meets him and they pass the ball around. Ryan notices the stain on Miguel's shirt.
Miguel, you spilled beans on your shirt. Hahahaha

Haha, very funny. My Mom's beans are just too good to not eat messily.

Although Miguel laughed at Ryan's comment, he felt very embarrassed. The only food he eats is beans.

I have to go now.
Aw man, we just started playing.
He didn't feel like playing anymore because he was so embarrassed by his stain.
On his way back he remembers to put away his soccer ball back into the bin where it belongs.

Miguel knew his mother would wash his shirt when she got home from work. He wasn't feeling so down as he was before because the thought of dinner popped into his head. His parents are coming home from their Bean restaurant, meaning they were bringing home beans for dinner.
Beans
Beans

Hi Mom and Dad. Mom, can you please wash my shirt? I spilled beans on it.
Sure. For dinner today, we are going to include healthier items like vegetables.
Miguel was against the idea of eating healthy foods. The one thing he hated was vegetables.

Ew, no! I don't want to eat vegetables they are so gross, Mom. I am totally not eating those things.

Miguel, you have to eat vegetables. If you don't start to eat healthily you will regret it. Without the proper nutrients, you will get sick and you can't play soccer.

But Mom, your world-famous beans are my favorite! Who cares about vegetables anyways?

Miguel knocks the vegetables off of the table in anger and disgust. His parents were angry at him but he ignored them.

Miguel decides to eat beans, disobeying his mother. He eats reluctantly still thinking about what his mother said to him earlier.

"Without the proper nutrients, you will get sick and you can't play soccer." Those words kept repeating in his head.
