There was a huge town. Then something came……. it was a monster! “Aaaaahhhhhhh there’s a monster” said Henry. “I know it’s a monster” said Jo. An announcement came. “Everyone run for your lives, run for your lives  there’s a monster in town” said the super heroes  Will and Toby.

The superheroes came. “Ok, so this is the plan. We have to hide and go as fast as we can” said Will. “Yeah I agree” said Toby. “Put your hand up if you agree with our idea” said Toby. Many people put up their hand. “This is good because everyone agrees with us” said Will. “Ok everyone go far away and do our plan” said Toby. “Come on! Go now, we need to be safe” said Will.

The monster is tired. The monster didn’t care what to eat anymore so the monster closed his eyes and grabbed something. He grabbed a cactus. The monster ate the cactus. “Oooocccchhhh. What is this!” Said the monster. “What?!!…a cactus!!! I never knew it could have been a cactus. My mouth hurts” said the monster. “Yay, there is now less chance that the monster will eat us and our neighbours “ whispered Will. “I know, that’s good” said Toby.

“I hope our plan is working. Unfortunately I haven’t seen any of our neighbours for a fortnight” said Will. “I hope they weren’t eaten” said Toby. “Same” said Will sadly. “I’m so sad too” said Toby. “Wait a second.. I think I worked out why we haven’t seen them for a fortnight. It’s because they might be very far away” said Will in a helpful voice. “Yeah that might be why” said Toby.

Will and Toby put rocks down. “I think this might help” said Will. “Me too” said Toby.

Soon enough a big bang came. Will and Toby saw the monster. They ran away. They were so fast that in two seconds they were ten kms away from the monster. “Ok I think we should go all the way back home and build a very, very, VERY high fence all around our town and there is only a secret way we can get in and out” said Will. “What a great idea! Let’s buy all our supplies” said Toby.
