This story is about a 4-month-old little girl named Kaylee.

Identify at least four cognitive development milestones appropriate to the age-group selected.
1) If Kaylee is hungry, she opens her mouth when she sees a breast or bottle.
2) Also, at these ages she looks at her hands with interest.
3) Kaylee will react to familiar sounds.
4) Kaylee will also recognize familiar faces.

1) Kaylee will start to make sounds like "oooo", "aahh" and she will also make the (cooing) sound.
2) She will also hit the milestone where she begins to make sounds back when someone is talking to her.
3) Kaylee will also be at the point to where she will turn her head towards the sound of someone voice.

A typical day in the classroom with 4-month-old infant Kaylee. The day starts out with Kaylee and her mom signing in and then going to the breastfeeding room. This is how the morning starts because baby Kaylee is a breastfeed baby. We allow mom to bring her in and feed her before she has to go to work, and then Kaylee comes to class.
Mom drooping off her infant after feeding and speeding valuable time with them.

This gives mom and baby time to bond since mom will be at work all day. After, mom is done feeding she will bring baby Kaylee to class and fill us in on what is the next time she will need to eat again.

Next, we will lay her on the tummy time mat so she can get the practice that she needs to start holding her head up and start learning to roll over and reach for toys that are out of her reach.
