My Name:

My name is Brittany Bass. My dad chose my name when I was born, my mom wanted to name me Samantha. Brittany is a name that implies a pioneering spirit. You are a natural born leader, highly focused, and achievement oriented. Enduring hardship to try out new things come naturally to you. It frustrates you to do too many unimportant activities. You can do things and make decisions by yourself.

My Family: 

I am a very family oriented person, my circle is very small, and is made up of mostly my close family. I have been married to my husband for 7 years and we have been together 15 years. I have two beautiful sons, a six year old and a three year old. 

Pets:

Sadly I do not own any pets. I love animals of all sorts. I love cats, large breed dogs, horses, cows and goats but I am allergic to all animal dander. This really hinders me from owning any family pets. 

Teaching History 

Teaching is my passion, I have always known I wanted to be a teacher. I taught my sister to write her name when I was only 5 years old. My mother said it just came naturally to me. I have been teaching 7 going on 8 years. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. 

Two different colored eyes:

One interesting fact about me that is literally breath taking to some and will stop most in their tracks is that I have two different color eyes. I was born with one brown eye, and one green eye. The doctors told my parents that they would change by the time I was a year old...… well they never changed. People stop in the middle of conversations or do many double takes when it is noticed.

I love to cook: 

One of my favorite things is that I love to cook. As a young child, I was the only grandchild my Nana would allow in the kitchen to help her cook. When I met my husband my mother in law taught me many things in the kitchen as well. Being that I have lost both of them I cherish the time I had and the lessons I learned. I love to cook a good meal and have our family around the dinner table.
