Today Baby is going to school. He is in the Infant/Toddler room. In his classroom, there is so much going on! He is joined by friends who are two months to two years. Let's look around and see what baby and his friends are up to!

While our friends wait for everyone to show up they are free to explore the room and play. Our littlest friends are watching their older friends play with the building blocks. When the blocks crash to the floor we can hear some friends react by cooing or giggling to the sound. 

Once all the friends arrive for the day, it is time for a morning snack. Our older friends point to choose their snack. Baby's bottle is being warmed up. When he sees it is ready he opens his mouth to show he's ready to eat!

Once everyone is done eating the children gather around for circle time. Today the teacher started by reading a book to Baby and his friends! 

A teacher then starts leading Baby and his friends in songs. She begins by singing the Wheels on the Bus and encourages the children to join. While most of our friends cant actually sing, the classroom is full of cooing, squealing, and babbling. 

Cooo!

Ahhh!

Baaabaaabaaaaah!

Round! Round!

A teacher then sang some finger play songs. Baby and his friends all watched how the teacher moved and danced her fingers along to the song. Many of them also stared at their own hands in interest.

A teacher then brought out some musical instruments for Baby and his friends to play with. His older friends shake times and bang the musical instruments on many different items, experimenting and exploring new sounds. 

While the younger friends explored the instruments by bringing them to their mouths and tasting them. They also are quick to turn their head and search for what new sounds they are hearing. They quickly learn how to make new sounds with their toys and take turns trying to make a sound after they hear one.
