The boy woke up one morning and scampered into the bathroom. He was delighted to see his best bud, a yellow rubber duck. The boy happily carried his friend downstairs and into the kitchen. He and the rubber duck munched on some breakfast, happy to be together.

What the boy did not know was that during nighttime, the rubber duck traveled elsewhere. Forget the shower curtains, this duck had friends of his own species, too! Rubber ducks from around the world had the ability to be transported to a special place only rubber ducks can enter, and no matter where the little fellas lived, they could get to rubber duck central with just the simple words, “quack quack”.

The day rushed by in a jiffy and soon the moon fell over the town. As soon as the boy was tucked in bed, the rubber duck quacked himself away to the social zone. The party was an epic and crowded area, bursting with excitement. There were a few ducklings at the party, and it was a joy to see them enjoy their first time there. The rubber duck was having the time of his life, catching up with old friends, drinking punch, and snacking on some pretzels.

At home, the boy was staring up at the ceiling, lacking sleep. He knew the perfect thing to help him rest would be having his rubber duck with him. The boy groggily walked into the shower stall and he absent-mindedly reached for the rubber duck. When his fingers enclosed over nothing but thin air, he felt a wave of emotions. It was all a blur, but there was definitely some confusion and panic mixed in there. He tore the bathroom apart looking for the small rubber duck.
