Cecil Forgarty lived in a quiet house in a quiet street, in a quiet town.  He lived with his wife , Edna , and their black and white cat named  Howard.

Cecil Fogarty  would stand outside his quiet house in his quiet street in his quiet town and talk to Howard.

"What do you think is out there in the big wide world, Howard?"

Of course, Howard didn't answer,  he was just a cat. 

Cecil Fogarty would stand outside everyday and ask Howard the same question. But  as usual, Howard never answered he just sat there thinking about how to get food.

One morning Cecil  Fogarty woke up and said to Edna "I want to go on adventures, I'm off to buy a motorcycle" .  Edna didn't know what to say. He jumped out of bed and off he went to the motorcycle store, with his cat, Howard.  Cecil Fogarty thought

it was tricky to find the perfect motorcycle, but  around the next corner, Cecil Fogarty spotted a  Motorcycle Store  at the end of the street. There he spied the  perfect  Motorcycle.  Cecil Fogarty  called to Howard  "look Howard ,  Iv'e found one." It was the large red motorcycle at the end of the row .   Howard  was purring,  he seemed to like it as well . Cecil Fogarty and Howard went over to the motorcycle salesman, Charlie, and said "Excuse me sir? We were looking at the BIG red motorcycle at the end of that row" The motorcycle salesman Charlie said, "Well sir, are you sure you want that one, nobody  ever wants that one.

his name is Harley, everybody says he's too big and ugly." "Oh no!" said Cecil Fogarty. "We think Harley is just  perfect. So they paid Charlie his money and with that Cecil Fogarty and Howard made their way home to show Edna their new friend Harley , the big Red Motorcycle. 

Cecil Fogarty asked Howard once again,"What do you think is out there in the big wide world?"   This time  to Cecil Fogarty's surprise, Howard answered " I"m sure there are many adventures, exciting places, and new people we can go and meet",  Cecil Fogarty was really amazed at his talking cat. He said "Howard! when did you learn to talk?"  Howard answered "Oh, Ive always been able to talk, I just chose not to", "But now as we are going on  exciting adventures, I thought I should tell  

you.",  Cecil Fogarty answered " WOW ! So Edna is going to have  two BIG surprises. "Cecil Fogarty and Howard arrived home. They were both so very excited ,  Cecil Fogarty called out "Edna, Edna! Come outside and see our wonderful surprise" Edna came 

running outside!   "Cecil Fogarty what have you done?!" She shouted. "What is that?!" she said, pointing to Harley, the big red motorcycle. "That?" Cecil Fogarty answered. "Is the beginning of our new life full of  exciting adventures!.  Edna, we will pack our toothbrushes and a small bag of tricks and we'll be off." 

Edna looked at Cecil Fogarty, "But Cecil what about the house?", "Oh thats simple , We will let a family of refugees live in there, they can look after it for us for as long as we're gone." Edna answered "How long will that be Cecil Fogarty?".  just at that
