Come and sit at my table, and I will tell youa story. The story of Elune and Solana,
the Moon and the Sun.
2

It all began long long ago, before thesun and the moon lit the skies, and light
came from just the stars. I myself was
just a child, unaware of how I would
help change two lives forever...
3

It all began in a simplelittle village, on the outskirts
of the Kingdom of Everglass,
where a boy and a girl met,
and fell desperately in love.
4

The only problem was, the girl Solana, was thedaughter of the King of Everglass, and she was
promised to Prince Chesed of Norsady, to be
wed on her eighteenth birthday. Elune was a
only a jeweler's apprentice, with no right to love
a princess. Their only choice was to meet in
secret, under the dark and moonless sky.

5

Then one night, Solana was followedby Prince Chesed, and they were discovered.
Outraged, he and King Minas sent Elune to
the dungeon, to be executed at dawn.

6

All night Solana cried and prayed locked up in her towerroom. She would not eat nor sleep. as dawn finally began
to creep into the sky, she began to lose all hope, and fell
into despair. Her beloved Elune was going to die.
7

Suddenly, an Angel appeared!"God has heard your prayers Solana,
and seen your love, and He has sent
me to help you. Quickly! Gather your
things, we have much to do tonight!

8

Into the dungeon they crept, past the guards fallen asleep,
and stole away the prisoner.

9

They fled...

10

Through forests...

11

Valleys...

12

Beaches with hot sands

13

Deserts with scorching suns...

14

And past beautiful waterfalls.

15

Yet they were still pursued

16

No matter how far they ran, Prince Chesed was alwaysone step behind. Finally, Elude resolved that a life of
running was no life for a princess. Because he loved
Solana so much, he would turn himself in, so she could
go back to the life of a princess. But Solana, in tears at the
thought begged him not to go, and so they went on together
in search of someone to help them disappear.

17

And so it happens, theirsearch brought them into
my village.
18

Hearing their plight, I immediately broughtthem home to see if my Nona could help.
