For our sick friend Jerry

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Hailey who lived in an extravagant palace. There were walls made of gold and her dresses had sparkly diamonds all over. She had everything any kid could want. Toys, food, a comfortable bed, and so much more.

Her parents loved her very much. Even though any kid would dream to be in her position, life for Hailey wasn’t good enough. Hailey grew up to be a spoiled brat!

She would pick on children who didn't have the same things she had. One child's name was Dante. He was a boy who lived in the village. Life was tough, but he and his family were happy and that's exactly what Hailey envied deep down.

One day, Hailey was walking in the local village when a little boy bumped into her. “I’m so sorry!” he exclaimed. “Who are you?” she sneered. “Dante, My name is Dante,” he said firmly. Hailey thought that he was just the right person to pick on.

She would push him around and say “Ew, you're poor and I fear even touching you" and "you'll never be as good as me because I have diamonds and you have rags for clothes.” Her parents tried to teach her good manners, but she didn’t listen. Her parents tried to teach her that we should treat everyone equally no matter the money they have.

Dante was tormented by her for weeks until one day, he went crying to his grandmother, Agatha, who was rumored to be a witch. He stood there at the table crying buckets of salty tears for too long. He said, "Grandma I'm not good enough because I don't have gold and diamonds." Grandma Agatha hated to see her grandchild in pain. She wasn't having it and said, "I will make her pay if that's the last thing I do."

Seeing her grandson in such distress, she boiled with anger and set off to the castle. When she arrived at the palace gates, she spotted the princess playing in the gardens.

Hailey turned around to face the old lady and questioned her. “Who are you?!” she asked in a somewhat disgusted tone. The witch pointed her crooked at the young princess and chanted a spell. "Only Dante will see you."

Hailey slowly turns invisible and starts to float around. “What have you done to me!” she yelled in fear, but the witch did not respond.
