It was a nice sunny Friday morning. Alyssa's mom woke her up to get ready for a fun day in preschool. Alyssa got up out of her bed and went to the bathroom. Mom went in the bathroom with her, but did not really need her help because Alyssa could get ready by herself. Alyssa washed her hands after using the bathroom she then grabbed her toothbrush and put toothpaste on it and was using un up and down motion to brush her teeth, Alyssa was able to chose what she was going to wear to school. She dressed all by herself and went downstairs to eat breakfast.

Mom asked Alyssa, "What would you like for breakfast this morning?" Alyssa says, "I want waffles." Alyssa is able to verbalize what she wants to eat. Mom made her breakfast of waffles and bananas and a cup of milk. Alyssa sat at the table and picked up her fork and ate her waffles and banana. Mom says, "Okay Alyssa it is time to go to school." They got in the car and drove to school.

When Alyssa arrived at school, her teacher Ms. Bubbles was happily waiting for her. Alyssa said good bye to her mom and walked into her classroom and gave her teacher a hug. She hung her backpack up on her hook and sat down for morning circle.

The class walked over to the circle time rug and sat down. Ms. Bubbles started off with the morning song as they class sang it together. They went over the day of the week, the weather. The teacher asked Alyssa to go find an item with the color blue. Alyssa walked to the shelve and grabbed a blue block. Ms. Bubbles then asked Alyssa to walk over to the library to pick out a book to read, she chose 'The Pigeon Gets a Puppy.' After the story they class got up to go play in areas.

Alyssa chose to go to the art area, where she picked a piece of paper and wrote her name on the paper before she started her work. The paint and paint brushes were set out on the table. Ms. Bubbles asked Alyssa, "what are you going to paint?" Alyssa said, " I will paint a rainbow." Her teacher asked, "What colors are in a rainbow?' Alyssa said, "red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple." She remembered because the class had just talked about rainbows on Monday. Her classmates were painting as well and Alyssa asked Laura, "what are you painting?" Laura, said "I want to paint flowers." After they were done painting, they walked the wet papers over to the drying rack to dry.

After Alyssa cleans up her area from art, she then decided to go to the block area. Her friend Sam wants to build with blocks as well. Alyssa and Sam start to build and they are talking about what to build. Alyssa says to Sam, "lets build a tower." They start to take the blocks off of the shelf and build. They continue to build and talk about what to build next. They decided to build a ramp for cars. They were so excited! Ms. Bubbles walked to the block area and said, "Sam and Alyssa what are you building?" Sam says, "we are building a ramp and tower." Ms. Bubbles lets the class know that they have five minutes till it is time to clean up.
After the class cleaned up it was recess time. Alyssa and her friends went to ride the tricycles. Alyssa was able to get a bike and use the pedals to move around the playground. After riding the bikes Alyssa and her friends played on the equipment, going down the slides and up the steps to the top of the structure. Ms. Bubbles gave the class a five minute warning until it was time to go inside for lunch.
After coming in from recess the class washed their hands the class sat down on the rug. Alyssa was the table setter so she got up and set the table, by putting everyone's placemats on the table, and putting a plate on the placemats. Today for lunch was diced chicken and potatoes with broccoli. Each child scooped the food on their plate and used a child sized pitcher to pour water in their cup. After lunch Alyssa cleaned up her spot and threw her plate away. She went to the bathroom and washed her hands. It was then time to take a nap. Ms. Bubbles set out the cots and the children went to their cubbies to get their blankets. After nap was over the chidden put their blankets away and sat at the carpet.
