Greg and Larry grew up in homes with moms
and dads, but the older they got the sooner they
realized they didn't want that. Greg and Larry
are best friends who are looking to adopt a child.

After months of searching, they finally found a
child that they were able to adopt. Brady
Wilson was the lucky one. He was already 5
years old at the time of the adoption so it was
hard for him to grasp what it was like not
having a mom around the house.

Brady was still a little too young to realize
what was going on. He liked the people that
adopted him though and he didn't want to ask
why he didn't have a mom.

As Brady got older, he began to wonder some
more. Brady eventually asked them why there
was no mom involved? The answer was simple.
Growing up Greg and Larry lived with a mom
and a dad and didn't like the set up. Once Greg
and Larry were able to move out and be on
their own, they decided to move in together
and adopt kids of their own.

Brady was okay with that. He liked the way
things were around the house. It was a new
thing to him but he got used to it really quick.
But once Brady got older, things began to
change quickly.

When Brady turned 10 some of his friends at
school started to ask him questions about not
having a mom. Some of the kids even began
to make fun of him and treat him different just
because he didn't have a mom like everyone
else.

Brady got really upset by everyone making fun
of him because he didn't have a mom. One day
Brady went home and told Greg and Larry
about the things people were saying at school.
Greg and Larry were upset about it so they
went to the school to talk to the Principal about
the kids that were making fun of Brady.

After a discussion with the Principal, people
began to stop making fun of Brady. Brady's
way of living was different from everyone else
but it didn't make him different in any way.
Some people may not live with a mom but that
doesn't mean that your weird because of it. It
just means you have a different style of living
and you would be surprised on how many
other kids live the same way Brady does.
