As an infant Jalen was a happy baby. Jalen would smile and use his face and body to communicate how he was feeling. Every time Jalen was hungry, I would know, because he would either smack his lips or cry for his bottle.
By two months Jalen loves to hold his head up and loves pushing with his arms, while he is on his stomach. Jalen even makes cooing sounds when I am communicating with him. When I give Jalen toys to play with Jalen can follow his toys with his eyes. When Jalen is tired, he starts to yawn and arches his back to let me know that he is sleepy.
By 4 months Jalen loves tummy time with me, and he also loves to rock his body from side to side and can roll from his tummy to his back all by himself. While interacting with me Jalen loves laughing aloud and babbling sounds with me and our family. When Jalen plays with his toys, he can reach for them and put them in his mouth.
When Jalen hits the 6-month milestone, he loves to play peek-a-boo with me and our family. Jalen also can point at things and make sounds like "dadada or mamama" when communicating with me. Jalen is a very curious baby and loves to look around and explore things that is surrounded in his playroom.
By the time Jalen hits 8-months he can respond to his name and loves to play and bang his toys in his hand. Jalen loves when I read to him, because he loves looking at the pictures in the book. When I leave Jalen with the babysitter, Jalen is able to wave goodbye to me.
Jalen has entered his 10-month milestone, he is pulling up and standing with the support of a chair or couch in our house. Jalen loves playing with his blocks on the floor and loves stacking them in his basket during his playtime. When Jalen communicates with me, Jalen can say one to two words, like "No" to respond to me.
Baby Jalen has now reached 12-months. Jalen is able to listen and follow simple directions from me like, "Picking up his toys" and putting them back where they belong. Jalen is also able to drink from a cup and hold his fork properly. Jalen is also able to say some words and can respond to me by shaking his head when I ask him if he is done with his lunch or dinner.
From infant to 12-months the cognitive development is very important. It helps you to understand how your child learn and grow. This is a very critical area when it comes to your child's growth. Cognitive milestones describe how your child brain develops, which consists of skills such as thinking, learning, exploring and problem solving.
