Once upon a time during he 9th century there
lived an evil king named Enchilada. He greedily
ruled the land and was so unsympathetically
evil that just for the fun of it he would tax the
poor people so they can die from starvation.
The rich and extremely poor lived on different
sides of the kingdom.

On the poor side lived a cute, young peasant
girl named Lilly. She had dirty blond hair down
to her shoulder blades, and incredibly kind eyes
that made everyone smile, even the king. Lilly
was no ordinary girl, she was stubborn, strong,
and very helpful. She lived with her father who
was a very well respected man because he was
the only farmer within the kingdom and he
provided food for everyone in his village.
Although Lilly's home was tiny she did not
mind it because it was next to the lovely, dark
green forest.

It all started like this, one day Lilly was
walking home from school and decided to go
play in the forest. While she was walking she
noticed that she was surrounded by a bunch of
trees hunched over her and that this was her
favorite part of the forest. Then a gleam of sun
light spotted a beautiful unicorn violently trying
to get out of the pit of quick-sand. Lilly did not
know what to do then she realized that she
would have to hold the magic horse so she
would not sink.

Then she remembered that she had a rope not
even two inches away from her arms, A.K.A
her rope swing. She grabbed a thin nearby
stick, ripped a loose thread from her dress,
pulled out a unicorn flower decorated pocket
knife, and securely tied the knife to the stick
then cut the rope. She worked carefully trying
not to scare nor hurt the unicorn or fall in
herself. She tied the thinly threaded rope
around the unicorn's torso to make a harness.
With the remaining of the rope she tied it to a
rock which was pretty

big and rolled it with all her might. Eventually
the unicorn was able to walk up the sides of
the pit of quick-sand. The poor unicorn was so
scared of Lilly and Lilly did not want to put the
unicorn in misery so instead of untying the
rope she quickly cut it off the unicorn. Then
the unicorn ran off in to the forest. Lilly felt
good that she saved a unicorn, after all she
never saved one before.

Suddenly, Lilly heard her father yell her name in
terror so she quickly ran to him, in fact she ran so fast
that she was there within seconds. Lilly was so scared
as she watched her father getting beat and arrested
for not paying the taxes, she stared at him as he
crucially got beat, blood and screams filled the
village. Her father yelled at her not to look at him, but
she still did, she panicked and took out her pocket
knife threatening the soldier in front of her. He
furiously turned around and beat her, crushing her
knife, and yelled "DO YOU WANT TO BE THROWN IN
THE DUNGEON WITH YOUR FATHER AND BE STARVED
TO DEATH? BECAUSE WE CAN MAKE
ARRANGEMENTS", "NO" exclaimed Lilly. "I didn't think
so replied the soldier!!!"

Most of the people in the village where trying to
comfort Lilly, but others were thinking "How will we get
food?"
After everyone left her house, Lilly ran into the forest
and sat on a rock, starred at the pit of quick-sand, and
she cried a puddle of salt water as she prayed and
prayed for a miracle.
Well this is weird she thought to herself, she felt as if
she was being watched. She slowly and carefully
turned around and to her amazement she saw the
unicorn that she had just rescued, and on the side of
her was a baby unicorn with a handlebar
mustache.......WHAT? Things were getting very weird
in this forest.
