Once upon a time,  there was a woman who felt like she might be missing something.  Her name was Renee.  She was happy but knew that something could make her happier.

She had a nice house, a good job and great friends.  Her family was close and she loved them dearly but she still felt like there was a hole in her heart. Something was missing.

So she decided to be a foster parent.  She would have babies come and live with her when they needed a home.  She hoped that this will fill the hole in her heart.  She hoped that maybe one day she would get to adopt one of them and create her own family. 

Some babies came and went and it made Renee sad.  But deep down she new that there was a baby out there for her.  Then, one day she got a call. To foster a sweet baby girl.  Her name was Amylah and she needed someone to take care of her. 

Amylah, was only a few months old and she was this sweet ball of happiness, but she needed a place to call home.  Amylah had another mom and dad but they weren't able to care for her.  They needed someone to help them love and care for Amylah.  Renee was happy to step in for them and give Amylah a place to call home.  So Amylah came to live with Renee.

Renee brought Amylah home and she loved on her and cared for her.  She made her part of her family and everyday that hole in Renee's heart filled up a little more.  

At Amylah's new home, she had a Nana and a Papa and a GiGi. She even had an Aunt Deedee and an Uncle Marsh.  They all loved her so very much.

Amylah lived with Renee for 988 days and each day they became more and more like family.  Renee loved Amylah and she could feel the hole in her heart fill up.  Amylah loved Renee and began to call her "Mom".
