A white fur ball lived in the dreary Great Glacier. Oh, that was little bear Ben. He was pale and ordinary compared to those glittering stars in the dark sky. Ben hated his white furs. One night, Ben looked up to the sky and cried out again, “HELLO! This is Ben! Would you like to be my friends!?” the Stars didn’t say a word but twinkled their beautiful eyes.
Ben wanted to talk to someone, even if just a little while. “Have you ever seen another bear like me in this Great Glacier?” Ben inquired those all-knowing great stars.
“I wish I were a star as well, so I could make friends with the stars and see the Great Glacier like they do.” Ben was disappointed. Tears almost spilled over his eyes. Poor little Ben.
The Stars didn’t say a word, but twinkled their beautiful eyes.
Ben walked through the glacier in countless dark nights, looking for a friend.
As Ben was losing his way in the Great Glacier, he found a little gloomy spot ahead of him.
Enigmatic odor and wet salty air from the sea became stronger and stronger as Ben got closer and closer to the gloomy spot.
It was spring time.
Clusters of white lilies were blossoming and giggling in warm breeze.
“Would you like to be my friends, dear lilies?” Ben asked with great respect.
“We little flowers don’t like you! You big furry guy! Be careful don’t hurt us when you are crossing! ”white lilies kept giggling, “And don’t drop into the swamp!” The lilies are losing lips of spring. They are devils, and dangerous beauties.
Ben crossed the lily field, sadly, until the end of the summer. “I wish I am a lily as well, so I could make friends with those beautiful lilies.”
Ben arrived the rocky beach. In front of it was the endless greyish space, with unnoticeable ripples. Cold and salty air surrounded trembling Ben: “Would you like to be my friends, dear rocks? ” “NO! Who would like to make friends with a big furry guy!You such a weirdo! ” the rocks smirked. Little Ben finally collapsed. on the hard and freezing rocky beach. He sniffled, cautiously, not to disturb rage rocks. “I wish I were a rock as well, so I can make friends with rocks.”
