Chapter 1

"But I don't understand!"I moaned. "You have to defeat him its your destiny" Felix sighed. "I know but he's been nicer now... he has good in him i don't want to fight micoha he been like....A...a.."I started."A father" I whispered. Felix bit his touge i looked at him meekly. "We'll discuss this later. He sighed. I sat up and started walking towards the mansion felix trailed behind. 'Dissipate.' I whispered an i instantly turned invisible needed to be alone. I wandered into the forest an Lied down in the grass. "Whattts wrong?" Pluto said. Tears filled my eyes.

Pluto Layed down next tome and wrapped his warm wing around me. I cried miserable tears that ran down Pluto's side. 'Its justs..oh Pluto! I promised to Felix I defeat micoha and fufill our destiny But. I can't!    I love micoha he provided a home forme...not the best but he adopted me i feel like i have a family again..."I trailed off."I can't destroy him...now. "I sniffed Pluto cooed sympathetically. Then perked up."I know whattt tto cure your sadness! "He growled. Than hoisted me up onto his back, Than bolted strait up so fast the wind tickled my face. I Giggled, than laughed as Pluto zoomed Through the sky. I Leaned back and smiled i felt so happy just like i always did when i flew with plu.

"Thanks Pluto I feel much better. "I said as we slowly landed.I hopped off thanked pluto an walked back into the mansion. Felix came out of his room and stopped me in the hall."I'msorry for pushing you so tough Its your decision." He said sheepishly.I gave a sideway smile "Its okay." He smiled  and put an arm Around me I stillfelt super depressed Felix noticed, he squeezed me, Lifted my chin up and Kissed me. I departed from Felix and was walked into the living room To my Suprise micoha was sitting on the coach. "Hey Can i talk to you?" Micoha asked. He has changed so much.I sat dowwn next to him and nodded."Your already so grown up.and...I'm sorry. "He started."I didn't...Imean..."He stuttered. "Your parents.. im sorry."I didn't no what to say

It was all too much.  I bit mylips trying tokepp tears away but inwasnouse.    Micoha confused but he stood up and gave me a hug "I'm so sorry."he said,I sobbed in his cloak,what was happening."So sosorry Jay."I broke out of the hug a looked at him with my teary eyes"Why do you callme jay?" I asked He looked pain."Jay was my wife. we were fighting a war And my sword slipped..."He closed his eyes in agony.",She reminds me of you Enough."He walked out of  the room. I put my hand over my mouth.How horrible!

"I said

"Oh well it was super good. Just...spooky. "He said. I beamed." I can't believe i did it."I said. Felix shrugged. He didn't learn spells the way i did he had a different spell book his talent was singing so each different song he sings is a different spell.  His voice was very good, "Anyway, Who's hungry?" I asked. Felix brightened and jumped up ."Me!" I smiled and rushed to the kitchen. "What 'Ya cooking Mom?" Mikiya brushed some of her red locks out of the way. "Stuffed snake." Felix crinkled his nose. "And for Felix imade some stuffed peppers for you." Felix gave her a grateful look. I walked up the Hall and stood in front of micohas office. I took a deep breath and knocked On his door.

"Come in "he said. "Ahh,Jay..Sit down." I sat down "Micoha.I have to fight you its my destiny and you know it must do it the time has come." I blurted out.We bot were silent."Very well.I'll give you one week to prepare. "He said silently. One the outside i looked fierce and confident.

Chapter 2

I stared with a empty sort of feeling at the the weapon i had chosen to train with.I swallowed hard, and stood up but dropped my sword i needed to train my magic."Airisome."I whispered and  waved my hand across the sky.and a piece of the wind waved in front of my  hand i gathered more wind and closed myeyes and imagined i was the wind i moved closer to the dummy gaining speed then BAM!the dummy was gone.I grinned As i roasted the other dummy's with fireballs.I could hear Felixs voice as he sung a catchy song.He waspracticing.

I felt something inside me I had never felt  before,A different magic I danced a bit because my body told me too. When i did though When i stepped The area i had dropped my foot on froze,I kept on dancing to the beat of felix and as soon as  felix sung a different song my moves change and soon the grass went up in flames.I gasped as it melted the dummys and ice.'Felix sing something upbeat! "I yelled with a curious feeling. "UM OK!" as soon as he stared i danced to it and the ground turned into thousands of different bubbles that danced with me and multipliyed.Felix watched and got the sitch and sang i sad ish song.Suddenly everything i danced on was well...Dissapearing.

And  every time i turned something had disappeared i knew i should stop but i couldn't i felt...right.I didn't worry and i felt alightas a feather so i kept dancing Then i remembered i had to fight micoha and  i got angry the floor turned in Lava."AH!:I screamed but i didn't burn up i could withstand it!I felt amazing I stopped dancing and breathed heavily."Eta that was amazing!" He said."Wait hold my hand i bet it'll get power fuller."He sang and held my hand and i danced suddenly the manson  disappeared screamed. Felix let go and it came back though.and i sighed with relief. "Eta i think your more  powerfull than you thought."

Then next few days i practiced my dancing and felix sung a sky full of stars i danced and the wind followed me and i shot it at the dummys with my dance moves   i could tell i was getting stronger each day.I felt amazing. It just felt so good when i danced.I stopped and gasped for breath. "Enough for today." I said and felix left my room.I smiled and tried to relax.But i couldn't. All i could think abput was the war in three days. What would happen when i really had to kill micoha? I left the question behind and felt like i wanted togo somewhere. Then something i never thought of before i thought of.I slowly sliped out ofthe window And jumped up onto Pluto knowing i'd regret this. "Where to go today?"

Pluto said."Clecter."I said in a wobbly voice.Pluto was shocked but he flew on.I fiddled with my Felix's Locket that i'd kept all  the way there. In the distance i saw a small orange planet abandoned and totally destroyed.I bit mylip.pluto was quiet a landed in and open area.All around me were tons of dcrushed handmade houses fallen trees and debre everywear.I had to find my house."Be right back pluto,"I said an started off.The land was quiet a eerie tried to ingnor the couple of decaying ...People. then something caught my eye.My hosue.i let a tear slide down my face. another ,another.I ran towards the house.I started digging in the ruins When my hand fell across something smooth It was mymoms. it was slick strong riders jacket.Or a

 fighting jacket?I couldn't decide but either way i sliped it on.It felt perfect. and fit.I walked deeper into the ruins then something stopped me.My eyes turned wide."No!"I screamed. "No!!!"I ran back and the pluto who came looking for me,I bumped into him. "Take me home! Take me Home! Now!"I cried Pluto quikly lifted my up on his back i kept my eyes squeezed shut tightly. And soaked Pluto. The whole time i was whispering. "Take me home"     once we were back pluto slid me through the window sat in the corner of my room shivering and wet. Now i know you want to know what i saw but i cant bare it.It was my dad, he was dead.I couldnt bare to look. Just then Felix Came in ."Um Eta? You ok??"He asked i didn't answer. He walked closer and saw my wide fearful eyes

"Where did you go?"He asked in a serious voice"Clecter'I managed to say between gasps of breath.Felix softened."Lets go to my room and get some teaand see if you want to talk,"He said pulling me up.I tossed my jacket behind for soemreasonand started shivering all the moreFelix put a arm around me.I sat on his bed and he gave my a glass of tea and a blanket.I sat the tea down."What did you see?"Felix said kindly."I-I-It-"I stamered.And Started crying again."I-it was -awful."I said.Felix gave mea long hug.I stayed in his arms though."i saw Father,"I said.Felix suddenly understood."Oh,Jules."He said.He gave me another hug.

Chapter 3  

I danced to Felix.I felt much better felix had helped.I did a long twirl and Lit myself on fire.And danced again.Lighting a tree in blue flames.

I stood in the weapon room.Trying to decide which weapon to  fight withI grapped a curved red sword.    I danced With the sword.It felt right.I dropped the sword and slipped mothers jacket onI grapped the sword swished my ponytail. I did my fire dance.I fel good.I walked Down the halls.There wa five hours til battle.I litmyself on fire And  practiced my dance.I glanced at felix.He looked better then ever.

He wore a dark blue Jacket likemine.Long black boots armed Pants and and long grey sword.I was wearing armed pants long boots and my moms red jackeand a long red sword.I smied at felix and he did the same.But my good feeling vanished once i saw the thousands of  bots micoha prepared for us.Felix gavemy hand a squeeze."No matter what happens,It will alwaysbe us aganst the world."Felix saidI gulped then noddedWe had few hours to practice.Frelux gripped my hand and we practiced.It was fuve minuts before we start.I could  hearmy parents proud voicesIn my head.And looked atthe thousands of bots.Then i heard a voice.The voice.

You got this.Use  your pain,Its partof you,Use your anger.Light your spark. It said.  Thats when i knew i was ready "the battle begans it in." Felix squeezedmy hand."2" I gulped."1'"Go!" I rushed onto the battlefieldFelix sung my strongest song I danced with determination.And lit the bots  in flames before they got to close.One bye one the bots were exploding.Felix gave me the signalThen changed songsI changed dance.I sent a beam odf lightingwitch took out 30 bots.i DID that ten more times then we changed songsI couldtell thebots weregett angry.I danced harder and my powers grew 

I gasped when about 100 bots disapated,suddenly a large smirk grew  on my face and i danced faster and felix sung  louder.As felix sung he wacked botsof balance with his wsword but i stayedbusy danced.A bead of sweat droppedof my forehead.I did the triple twirl and knocked out a wholr lot of bots  Then did the freeze dance.

CHAPTER 4

Two days later.

I dontknow how long i can keep this up.I was exuastedfromdancing somuch.Suddenly my jacket flew off.The bots weren't too close if i could just..JUst as i reached down to getit.It all happened to fast.Felix jumped in front of me to shealdme and got hit by a botHe layon the ground motionless"No!'I screamed.I dropped to the ground."Wake up!Wake up!'I shookfelix.He didn't stirand a  small  puddle of blood started  to grown."No!"I screamed and i sobbbed."Wake up."I whispered.But i felt his arm.It was ice cold."No."I cried.Tears became waterfalls and i just sat ther

And cried.And cried.And cried.'no!This isn't true.He s alive."I cried.Mikiya came to comfort me she was gonna put a hand around me but i burned he hand with fireOut of pure anger and greif.Mikiya rushed away to put water on her hand.I took My shawl from mikiya and wrapped it around his wound,A then i just criedand cried  and cried."Its all my fualt."I sobbed."Stupid."I used all the magic leftinsideof me.But icouldn't  heal him.So i sat.and waited for something,anything to happen.

Chapter 5

"I'm worried about her."Mikiya said.she's been out there for two daysjust sitting there.Mikiya  said.Then she went Out to  eta who was still staring.mikiya slowly and softly grabbed julieta hand julieta was so lightand thin from not eating that mikiya lifted up the depressed girland carried her to her room  and into her bed.But when mikiya left i sat up and  took felixs locket outThere was a thin pieceof paper folded up insideIt was a song felix wrote for her years ago"I promise that one day I'll be aroundI'll keep you safe I'll keep you sound Right now its pretty crazy and i dont know How to stop or slow it down.Hey,I know there are some things we need to talk about

That night eta Could hear commotion in the hall.So she walked out and coud not bielieve her eyes

In the hall was felix mikiya and micoha.I diddn't hesitate i ran towards felixand gave him a hug."How is he here!?I demanded."i  felt awful when he died, so i took  him replaced the parts of his body that wern't working with bot parts and some magic.Half humaan half bot."He explained.I gave micoha a huge hug And kissed his cheek."Thanks."then i went back too felix."They told me you didn't eat anything ordo anythingwhen i was gone"Felix luaghed.Iblushed but felix gave me a hug and kissed  myy cheek. "sorry for burning your hand mikuya."ALL good,"Then i took a deep breath."

"guys i know my destiny is to kill micoha but i cant and i wont I'm going to make my own destiny."I said.Everyone agreed."Also two other poeple came to make sure u were okay."Mikiya said.And  lia and thor came into the room.I gaspedand gave them both a hug."Thor your so biug!:I said.He blushed."Also.Is it alrightif i stay for  awhile?"Lia said,"More then alright i agreed.""Whose hungry?"Mikiya asked.And i've got to  say.I  was definatly the first onein the dining room.I ate three servings of dinner and two slices of pie and five glasses of  water and one of lemon water.

I walked outsideand looked at the ruinsThen i Made a big healing ballAndit exploded throughoutnthe land and the mnsion got bigger and everything was brand new and i saw somthing i've never seen before...Sun.I smiled. Congratulations but your journey is not over yet.A planet nearby called encholok is sufforing from a slavery of there queen.Its is now your job to stop this.I Grinned. Then felix came out"whats up?" he asked.I explained everything. "Will you help me?"I asked"Of course!"He said"Let go tell the others!"I grinned

Chapter 6

"This is sooo Exciting!!!"Sqealed Lia.I groaned quietly her loud voice made my head hurt."Can i come too?"thor asked.I shrugged. why not?.My head was really bothering me."Im going to my room i said. I walked down the corridor towards my room.Then stopped.And ran down the halland outside."Pluto!"I yelledPluto darted towards me ready to help.I smiled."To encholoke,We are going to Be their to help the slaves soon and i want to check it out."I explained.Pluto   growled aprrovingly and leaned down.I jumped up.And we started flying.I buttoned up my Mothers flying jacket and wasconsumed with a few feelings:

Happiness,sadness,longing,warmth,love,excitment.I read some of the spell book while we flew.

In the distance i saw a big glowing purpleplanet.plutoslowedd and i looked over his head into the guarded planet then igasped in horror.I saw part of theplanet was coveredin purple farmland then a nother part was covered in factory and another was filled with trees,In each on there was thousands of sad tired poeple working endlesslyAt the end was a black castle and a bunch of poeplebuilding onto it with steady black bricks that they had built.I felt sad.

"let go home Pluto,if we dont train we'll never make it in time"

I nudged pluto with my foot a little and he shot strate home.

Felix sung a song that was from the 80s thats the kind that i used for my blue fire dance.This was all about footwork.I took out three of the dummies.Then stopped for a break. Felix sat down next to meona long and took a long drink of water.'Felix earlier i went over to the planet and...Its really bad.Do you really think we ready for this?"I asked.Felix stopped andthoughtl. "Risky but.."

"Life is full of risks and if you dont take somerisks in life you'll never be able to take the ones that tou need to take."Felix said."Who told you that?" I asked."Someone wiser than me." Felix laughed and smiled."Imgonna go make sure the others are training andnot just eating Mikiyas dinner pie."I said grinning. I walked into the training room and saw Thor and Lia fighting with swords playfully and i also saw a small cut onlias cheek."Guys save the blood for the battle."I said."Also i think its time for dinner." The others pouted."Awww,Come on jules,Just a little longer?"Thor begged."Yeah?Eta please?"Lia said."Yeah ok. BUt its just means i getall of Mikiyas dinner pie."I said sowly walkingout."DINER PIE!"The others screamed.rushing past metodining room.I smirked.

I sat at the table with the others.Everyone were talking about themisson."Um.I Am coming with right..Jules?"I looked up the looked at him doubtfully."Please Jules!"He begged.I had no idea why he was calling me jules that was my pet name dad used to call me that i doont know how he even heard of it.it made me feel uncomfortable and emotional"Idont no thor,Your still little,It'll be dangerous and i think you'd better sit this one out."I said."No!Jules Please,I never get to  do anything fun." He begged."Im sorry thor.Next time." I said.Thor got red."QUIT ACTING LIKE IM A BABY!I CAN DO COOL STUFF TOO!"He yelled.short temper.Run in the family.

I felt bad.He stood up kicked the chair over and marched out of the roomslamming the door.I gulped down guilt.I didn't want too lose anyone else.Everyone was staring at me with that -Your-a-terrible-big-sister-how-could-you-do-that-?Look everyone exceptfor felix he justed staring at hisplate.I Looked atmy feetand walked out of the room Towards thors room.I knocked.Nothing.I knockedagain.Nothing i groaned.and pushed the door openthr wassitting on the thorred faced and tear stained."What do YOU want?"Thor pouted."Listen,I'mreally sorry i shouldn't of doubted you i just don't wantto lose you,yourmy only family.Forgive me."I said

Isigh got up and walked towards the door"I'm going to train."I said i was about to walk out the door than i siad,"Arent you coming?"Thor jumped up with wide excited eyes."Really?!"He gasped.I smiled. he ran up tome and gaveme a big hug"Thanks jules! wewalked down the hallsand thor asked.'Maybe i can use my magic to help wish dishes or i could fly and spot danger or.."

Chapter 7

A final preperation

"Thor got the water?"I asked."Yup" I gulped."Food? Clothing?Swords?Cloaks?Jackets?"I asked quickly."Chill outeta We are all prepared.We even gotLias dragon to carry someofus"Felix said."Oh alright." I said.I looked around and suddenly felt scared.Mikiya cametomeand gave me a big hug."You got this."She whispered into my ear"I love you."I gained confidence."Love you too,Mom."I said.But I only ever call her that when im alone with her and i could tell thor was  puzzled

Micoha Put his arms out.I gave hima hug too."Don't Die."He said.I smiled ervously and hopped onpluto,Me,thor and felix wereon pluto and Lia and our packs were on her dragon,Snowy."Let go!"I said andwe started flying,pluto in thelead."So we jump into there planet attack everyone thenattack the queen and take her captive!"Thor said."No,I think our safest bet would be too sneak around make camp at night in a safeplace.Sneak in the castle and attack the queen."I said.Everyone nodded."Aww man,"Thor moaned.I grinned at him.He rolled his eyes.

Pretty soon the planet neared and we slowed down."How are wegona getover the walls?"Lia asked."We've got dragons."I said.Then Somthing hitme."Where are the dragons going to go?We cant bring them in."I gasped."They'll have to stya hidden beyond the wall."Felix said.I gulped.The dragons dropped us off on thewall.Before pluto left i hugged his head and kissed his snout."Donttt Diee"He growled i smiled."Bye pluto."pluto ducked down and i looked around for some thingfor us to jump down on."That!"Thor said I looked were he waspoitning, Ther was a Big hay stack where he was pointing."Good."I said

'Me first!"Liasaid and she jumped onto the hay stack."Menow!"Thir said and he plunged down on the hay stack."You next"Felix said.I took a deep breath.Andfelt better when felix linked his finger inmine. Then without hesitation i jumped down on the hay stack. "Wow that didn't hurt actually."I said.Once Felix jumped down  He said,"Wow this is worse than i thought."He said."Follow me." I said getting down on my knees to hide behind the crops in the field.The others ducked down too."This mighttakeus awhile to get to the castle." Lia said. I shrugged and kept going.Then a loud red vechical started driving my way.I gaped then Darted away and hid behind a hhouse with the others."Close one."I watched the poeple through the cracks of the houses Learning there ways

I saw a Girl about my age with a painted fakesmile and dull lifeless eyes.She looked atme and jerked and ran took catch upwith the others.'Its already gettong dark how long have we been walking?"I asked."Maybe two hours?"Lia  suggested."I thinkit been three.We should setup camp."Felix said.Yeah.He was right.I nodded.As if on cue we found a big house with tall grass behind it."Perfect."Lia said dropping to thegroundAnd drinking a gulp of water.We ate dinner and everyone went strate to bed.Il ay awake Starring atthe nightsky.Thor was beside me doing the same.Eventually he fell asleep.And i slowly got up and walked over to a high tree behind the next houseI climbed up and watched the townloudly working with the yellow town lights Somehow i found peace in their violence

The tree reminded me of when i wasseven.Whenlife wasent loud andstressful when i couldjust play around all day.I liked going onmissions but i also missedmyold life when i was young.Me felix could just play.I glance to my side and gasped to see thor on the branch next to me."What are you doing?"I asked."I could ask you the same."he said."How long have you been here.?"I asked.He shrugged.Icould see he had tears in his eyes.'Whats wrong?"I asked.Thor looked at me."Ifeel awful.I want mom and daddy to be here.But i dont miss them becuase i never knew them.And does  thatmean im a bad son?And imisssed you jules.But i can tellyou didn't miss 

Me because you got all your friends."He said qeuitly.I gasped."Thats not true!I couldn't sleep everynight just thinking ofyou.I missed. You i wouldn't trade anything for youthor.I loveyou.Your  my only family.Andi would never want you to leave or anything,    And you the best kid i know.Mom anddad would feel the same."I said.Thor was about to say something but then We saw three men in front of the tree guards."Hey We'll have you slain for this!"They screamed.Me and thor exchanged fearful glances"Wake up guys!I screamed.They woke  and realized what  was happening.I grabbedthors handAndjumped down the other caught u to us and starting runnign faster with us.the guards chased us.We ran and ran and ran.I could tell thorwas slowing me down

I bit my lip.Thekneled down and thor jumped on my back and we caught up with the others Imovedmy feet as fastasever  before.And thor squeezedhis eyes shut and clung tomy like  I was his life.I was.I ran and ran and ran.For hours.I looked  behind us.We lost the guards.We stopped for a breif break "Wheres the pack?"I asked wide eyes.Lia waswhite  as snow."I-I left it!"Shesaid."I,msorry!"she stammered.I felt like icould faint."Whatever weneed to keep running."I said.We were nowin the factory part and ran swiftly behind all themachines.We were nolonger sneaking.We were crimanals on the run.

Chapter 8

Help.

I ran across the gravel withmy eyes on my feet at all times.Then I felt like soemone waswatching us,I spun around and saw  a young girl rreally young Dressed inblackWith long blond hair.And freckles.I got out my weapon "Woah stop!She yelled."Im with ya'll."She said.She sounded familur.looked familur."Samantha?!"Thor gasped.I gasped too."What are you doing here?"He said."I live everywhere.i could ask you the same."Sam said.We were about to explain but she put a hand up."Follow me,You need help." She said.Just as a colorful cart of fruit came near."Jump!"She yellled.We piled up in the Cart 

I sat up but sloached sonoone could see me,We explained to samantha.Andsheexplained "I'm wanted.Everywhere.Dead or alive."She pointed to a sign with hepicture."Someone blamed me for something awful.But i swear ididn't do it!"She said."Do waht?"Felix asked."i got blamed for killing the queens...daughter.But i did not do it really."She said."Thats awful"I said."Anyway This cart should take you too the forest then you'll have to run again."she said."Thanks sam."Lia said."Your agood kid.Besides who wouldblame a ten year old girl of murder?"I looked ot apeephole in the woodand watched the poeple wworking.I slowly drifted of to sleep

Leaning on Felix's  shoulder.meanwhile felixwrotesomthing in his notebook.".Why did i find peace in this voilence?I asked myself.

I awoke  too see the cart slowing andthe  forest ahead of us.I shook felix awak and the other slowly woke up"you go."Sam whsipered.I nodded"Thanks sam."I tossed her six gold coins.She looked please but gave themback i grinnedand sneaked up tothe forest edge with the others.Suddenly both me and felix felt somthign about the trees.and we sharedasecret smile. werushed up on of the trees quietly.

Chapter 9

The Kings castle.

"The castle!I see it!"Thor yelled.And sure enough off in the distance there was a tall black castle.suddenly we all burst into a sprint.We darted towards the castle as fast we could.

Once we reached it we collapsed behind a bush.Gasping for breath."How are we gonna get in?"Lia asked."We should probably go around the castle and see if theres a window or something."Thor said. "Good think Thor."I said.So we quietly slid across the wall of the castle avoiding guards.

Then i stepped on a twig."Its the boy and girl  who were in the tree!Sieze them!"The guards screamed."Attacktime." yelled.Throwing a fire ball at on of them he yelped pain.and collapsed on the floor lia shot and  arrow at one andtoo my suprise thorShot a large lighting bolt a two of them.They were gone for now but other guards were coming.I rushedup a tree helping the others and we slipped through the window.And sure enough we wentstrat into the throne room.The was a tiny puddle of water with a beautiful young mermaid girl inthe water with dull lifless eyes singing tothe king who was on a large throne.before He could say anything

We passed the throne room i screamed the others were tied up.

I put a levitating spell on the kingAndpicked up the shivering sky and we all ran out ofthe castle we ran andran until we reached a clearing the woods.We all fellto the ground and set up camp.I explainedwhat had happened and lia explained.Then sky screamed."My Benji is dyng!He needs water."Benji?"I asked.She showed me the tiny seahorse in her hand.I tossed her a bag full of water and she gently slid benji inside it."Whats yourstory Pip??"Felix asked.

"All i remeber is being a happy family inthe lake then being taken captive to sing for the king since i was two>"She said and walked down the hill to be alone.I  frowned."I feel bad for her." I told Felix."I mean where  is she going to live?"I asked"She could come to the  mansion with us."He said."Shes a mermaid felix."I said.Felix shrugged.
