That's Right... ASTRONAUTS! They go through specialized training and wear spacesuits that help them survive in space.

Mercury is the closest planet to the sun and also the smallest planet in the solar system. It is a rocky planet and just like the moon it's covered with craters.

Venus is the second closet planet to the sun.  Venus is the second to the brightest in the the sky. The surface temperature is about 900 degrees Fahrenheit!

Earth is the third planet from the sun. Earth is home to living things like us and is made up of 70% water.

Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun. It is also called the "Red Planet" because of the iron in the soil.

Jupiter is the fifth planet from the Sun.  It is the largest planet and the fastest spinning planet in the Solar System.

Rings are made up of bits of ice, dust and rock.

Could float in water because it's mostly made of gas

Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun. It has seven rings with 3 being the main ones. You are able to see Saturn and it's rings through a telescope.

URANUS

Uranus orbits the Sun on it's side

Has 13 faint rings

First planet to be discovered through a telescope

Uranus is the seventh planet from the Sun. It is the coldest planet in the Solar System and was discovered in 1781.
